Used to work hotels. The cleaners will be held up at least 20 mins trying to find the card and be in big trouble when they can't. They'll be behind all day, that's so shitty

Not to mention if a room card went missing then chances are they are gonna go to the room with the guest card or master card and check to see if anything was stolen. The hotel I use to work for each room had 2 keys, 1 for the guest and 1 for the cleaners. And then the owner had the master key to all the locks. And yes this would cause a ton of hassle since your targeted to clean X amount of rooms per day and each room had to be done in 45 minutes (Where I worked but I heard some it's 30 minutes).

Well, I have worked inside a massive castle hotel, really fancy and expensive called the Delta Besseborough. Honestly, staff members don’t overly care in the industry. Very underpaid. We would even take manager keys and sneak onto our rooftops always haha

I feel like if someone steals a cleaner card from a hotel the issue is not really the act itself. Any criminal marginally more intelligent than the average youtuber would use said employee card to go into rooms and steal belongings, so now you have to cancel the card and check all the rooms it's accessed, assumong that's logged.

depending on how strict the hotel is that cleaner could get anything from a warning to suspended depending and most keycards in hotels and such are logged so they will most likely have someone notify any guest rooms that key was used at.

It doesn't matter if it's fake or not but by doing something like this and showing it to your young audience they might do themselves and that won't be good.

Lol both the hotel and the nightclub have reported that he was a “paid guest” to Mothership, a Singaporean news outlet. And it was on TV. I’m guessing it was a promotional stunt for the hotel, and for Pete to gain more subscribers. But it’s backfired for Pete and now everyone is calling him out on it.

I’ve always found it suspicious that this guy records himself committing literal crimes and gets away with it. And now I know why. The hotel and the nightclub have confirmed Pete was a “paid guest” to Mothership, a Singaporean news outlet. And it was apparently on TV over there. I’m assuming it was a promotional stunt for the hotel, and for Pete to gain more subscribers and money/views. But it’s backfired for Pete and now everyone is calling him out. He’s coping hard, saying, “Of course they’re saying that because they don’t want to admit I finessed them.” I’m pretty sure the majority of his other “sneak in” videos are promotional stunts for the hotels he’s staying at, or heavily edited. It’s lazy content, and it inspires copycats to commit crimes for clout. Peak main character syndrome.

He might be an idiot but it's actually possible the hotel tried to do a cover-up, so as to not having to admit somebody's managed to sneak into the hotel, steal the cleaner's general admission key card and have one of their guests pay for his food and/or drinks. It would be a hugely bad look on them, of course they'd try to cover it up.
