In my country, we make this glutinous balls before our Lunar New Year. U shld buy a ladle with holes to scoop up these balls. I too used to sell when my kids was young to make extra money. It's easy n fast. I also make hundreds of dumpling for our dumplings festival to sell.

What she is using to take them out does have holes in it to drain when she takes it out of the pot. What she uses works works very well for her.
