2006 CBR1000RR Exhaust Servo Delete

Total weight savings: 12.0 oz
Materials:
4.7k ohm resistor
220 ohm resistor
470 uf 16V capacitor

hi, my bike is a cbf 1000, same set up with the servo, have i got this correct in thinking, the motor is a pull to pull cable system, so if the motor that's not working correctly the servo sticks in the exhaust, so if that's the case and i just disconnect the cables, the engine fault will still flag up unless you bypass it, also can i leave the same can on my bike if i disconnect this thing.

Hey man, i got a 06 1000. I put on a 2 brothers slip on, never got and faults on the dash tho. Would i need to dona servo delete? Its been a while since its been installed. Thanks

If you don't have any codes you're probably fine. I didn't want to risk it personally.

I have a 2005 1000rr. Some one stole it and cut my exaust. Now won't start. Will this fix this issue?

@@bigdaddy9089 check your ignition and switch too. A lot of thieves wire their own key. Yours might be disconnected. Good luck man, sorry that happened to you

I put a yoshimura on my 2004 fireblade, and unhooked and cut the wires, does I make any difference if I leave it as is, or does removing the whole servo make it go better? I don’t understand.. thanks

It should be fine if you left the servo motor and connector intact. Not sure how different the '04 is, but the '06 throws a CEL if you don't have the motor or this replacement attached. You just need something to send a signal/resistance to the computer so it thinks the servo is there. That's all this delete does; trick the computer to thinking the servo is still attached.

I got an 04 that has an aftermarket slip on from the previous owner. There's no CEL but how do I know the htev mod was done?

@@GuerreroDelInfo wish I had an easy answer for you, but you'll have to manually dig into the bike and check what the previous owner did. No way to tell without looking that I know of

So you can completely remove the servo once you do this mod with no red light?

Correct. Just plug this in and you're good! I'm two years in with no lights
