In this video today, I will take you further on the Day 4 journey of my Offbeat Ladakh 2023 where I traveled from Terido Village (Teri Village) Cho House Homestay to Hanle Village.
Hanle lies in the Changthang region of Eastern Ladakh where the beautiful landscape of Hanle will take your breath away.
We traveled through Chumathang Hotsprings. You can buy some snacks and have food at Chumathang as well. Then we crossed the Mahe village and bridge where the diversion to Tso Moriri Lake goes.
After having our lunch at Nyoma Village, we continued further towards Loma Bend and finally reached Hanle by evening to enjoy the sunset at Hanle observatory. We stayed at Hanle on Day 4 at Padma Homestay.

Sir i think SEPTEMBER month me sunset hanle monastery ke upper hota hoga, other months me nhi, aur after six months i.e feb/march me to bilkul hi monastery ke bohat jyada left ya right hota hoga. Bcoz position of sunset set keeps changing during the year. And glad to see ur video. Was waiting for so long.

Thank you Daljit bhai.. ye to maine itna nahin socha and you are right that mostly because maine trips September mein plan kare hain being my best month to travel ladakh.. to hamesha maine monastery knupar se hi rays ko jaate hue dekha hai .. but aap sahi keh rahe ho ko sun ki direction change hogi to location peeche wali pahaadon par different hogi.. but mujhe lagta hai tab bhi utna hi sundar lagega bas monastery par se nahin hua to 😀😀

@@discoverwithdheeraj ji bilkul sir. Sunder to dikhega hi. Isiliye to hum prakirti ke pas jate hain. Prakirti ke PASS jana hi prakriti ke PAAR jana hai. prakirti ke pas usko samjhne ke liye jana hai. Uski khubsurti ke bhandano (boundations) me aur ulajhne ke liye nhi. hum jitna prakrti ke pas jayeinge utna hi isko samjh payeinge. Jitna usko samjh payeinge utna hi uske bhandano se mukt ho payeinge. Isliye hume prakirti ki khubsurti ko dekhna bhi hai, mehsoos bhi karna hai per sirf usko samjhne ke liye naki uske khubsurti me aur ulajhne ke liye. Kyuki prakirti hi janamdatri hai, prakirti hi mrityudayani hai aur prakirti hi Muktidatri hai.

Another detailed video. Thanks a lot. 🙏 Chumathang Hot Spring has not much scope for bathing like Tatopani in Kali Gandaki trail Nepal, Tattapani, Manikaran and Vashisht in Himachal Pradesh? I didn't see well defined bathing cubicles here. There is a tin sheet structure, which looks like a bathroom! Perhaps private resorts are having bathrooms with hot water from the springs like in Manikaran? Hanle is indeed very beautiful. Hope I get sufficient time after my Kinnaur Spiti tour in June, and visit Hanle and Tso Moriri. That's possible if the Kaza to Manali road via Kunzum Pass opens by the first week of June. Keeping my fingers crossed. Weather is very unpredictable this year with less snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir when it should've been covered deep in snow. Now it is snowing there, but we don't know when winter's gonna end!

Hanle is still beautiful but gosh it was way way more beautiful a few years ago before Umling La opened up.. more to come on my not-so-good experience in what used to be my best place on the earth, no longer though :D hopefully there are more spells of snow!

@@discoverwithdheeraj Dheeraj Bhai, once developed, any place gets commercialised and crowded, and tourists spoil nature. We had witnessed this in Shimla and Manali within 5 years from 1989-1994. Climactic changes also play a major role. Perhaps the reason why the Kali Gandaki trail of Nepal looked pristine to us in 1997. Buses run between Pokhara and Jomsom since a few years. I don't know how it is now.

Well carrying a trekking pole and traveling/walking in groups helps but that is what the challenge is with solo traveller that always you may not find groups to walk around... Best will be to carry at least a stick or a trekking pole.. I do it when I go for walks in Leh and around especially the restaurants which are pretty inside in the lanes of Leh..

Hi Brother, Now a days Watching ur this Leh Ladakh Series .I just want to know that I am planning to travel on bike with my son who is 13 years old in the month of June . My tentative plan is as following - Day 1 - Arrival at Leh airport. Total rest . Day 2- We will rent a bike and will travel Lamayuru, Magnetic Hill, Hall of fame .(Total distance @250km) Day 3- Leh - Khardungla pass- Diskit Monastery - Hunder ( Total distance @ 135 km) Day 4- Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder ( 175km) Day 5- Hunder - Sumur- Siachen camp - Sumur ( 100km) Day 6- Sumur - Pangong Tso ( 265km) Day 7- Pangong Tso- Leh ( 225km ) Day 8- Departure from Leh Airport I wanted to know 1) Can I travel these locations with my 13 years son on bike ? ( We r grp of 6 people and will have 3 bikes ) 2) Is there any location in between the Sumur and Pangong Tso where I can stay at night ? I heard that there is no hotels in Shyok . 3) Should I add Tso Moriri also .? Thanks and Regards in advance.

Thank you!! Glad you are liking it... 1. You can travel to these locations as long as you son is OK with bike rides, long adventure days. Just be careful and follow the tips of my AMS video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/br6Zna-i15yzYI0.html 2. The KMs you have is wrong for Pangong Lake to Sumur, it is about 160 odd km only. Check Sumur to Spangmik (Pangong). Again Spangmik to Leh is about the same, so you got wrong there too. So, you do not need anything to stay at Shyok you can reach Spangmik village same day. Else Tangtse has guest houses. 3. I will suggest you take it slow brother with a small kid. Day 2, is too much on second day itself. Rather just visit till Alchi and come back. Don't stress out till Lamayuru. Then if I were you, I will skil tp Siachen side and will go to Pangong Lake from Hunder. Nothing much significant especially when you want to do ride everyday with a kid. Use that as rest day in Leh on Day 7. You can do something like: Day 1 - Arrival at Leh airport. Total rest . Day 2- Ride till Alchi in Sham Valley Day 3- Leh - Khardungla pass- Diskit Monastery - Hunder ( Total distance @ 135 km) Day 4- Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder ( 175km) Day 5- Hunder Shyok Pangong Day 6- Pangong Leh Day 7- Leh Rest Day Day 8- Departure from Leh Airport

@@discoverwithdheeraj I m in leh. Light & sound show of zorawar fort & that of the hall of fame are closed till April. Moreover, zorawar fort is closed for visitors. Ministry of tourism should give real time data about what is closed and what is not.
