I sat down with Murugi to have a conversation on her transformation from LGBT life to the firebrand for Christ that she has become. We discussed many things including whether homosexuality is a choice, the violence that members of the community face, change from the lifestyle and many others.
Fun fact: We prayed for the first time on my podcast before the episode.

This is literally my story, I relate🙌... I was addicted to pornography, addicted to masturbation, I smoked weed, I was depressed, and I identified as a lesbian. It also started in Primary School, I was in Grade 5... There was a time where I felt like a man and felt like God made a mistake with me, I wanted to change my gender to being a male, I didn't like dresses, at this stage I think I was 15 years... but Glory to God that He saved me at an early stage. He was able to heal me from everything that I just mentioned... it took time but I can say it was worth it, right now I am 19 years and free in Christ❤. Life in Christ is the best life that I have ever lived, and I cannot imagine myself going back to that depressing and lost life. May those suffering from any of the things that God has saved me from, be saved and be healed in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen🙏

It's very difficult to have this conversation without basing it on faith because faith and scripture are the underlying reference areas, hence explaining the reason we'd say the LGBTQ+ activities are illegal and immoral. Some straight up don't even believe in God, or keep up with religion, making this conversation difficult to have altogether. All the best Murugi, may God give you strength and wisdom to keep doing what you are doing.

3:40 regardless of how long you've felt same sex attraction, the spirit of homosexuality entered at some point. Sometimes it happens so early, we can't help but identify with it. Whether it's being exposed to porn, TV or molestation etc. We're surrounded by sex at all times now, and that's what makes it so tricky for people to accept it is NOT their nature. Lots of compassion is needed.
