That performance by Lucy Lee in the Harve episode is so dear to my heart; it's a testament to every shy person who struggles in romantic love. I particularly love her VoiceOver diary entries, especially that last line, "I'm happy. I really am." *bursts into sobs*. It *is* a beautifully written episode, but Lucy Lee elevated it to a whole new level. Thanks!

this podcast has been really helping me, remembering when it was easier growing up and watching shows that seem more simple then life today, I tried to jump in the river this week, but since I survived, this podcast has been helping me feel a bit better.

I luv Lucy Lee Flippins name. Thats a great name. Everything about Eliza Jane's character was about how much she loved her brother Almanzo. When Eliza is putting the Gingerbread characters on the cake and she says the monolgue to Charles, of sacrificing her life for her brother ... that touched me. It was beautiful written and beautiful portrayed by Lucy.

Lucy played Eliza soooo well because as I watched she got on my nerves! 😂⭐️👍🏼

Omgosh I love you guys talking about "For the Love of Blanche". Very, very odd episode, indeed! One thing - can everyone stop saying "orangu-TANG". It's orangu-TAN, no 'g' sound on the end. Victor French WAS amazing, as usual in it. He rolled with it, and made us believe that the whole town cared about Blanche. I love it for his performance, alone.

I've got to review some of the past show episodes that she's (Lucy) been on that I've completely forgotten about. I was re-watching Scarecrow and Mrs King last year and boom...there she was as the daunting congresswoman Fabor. She was hilarious in that role. So glad she participated in this event. Her role on Little House was just as weighty and consequential as any other outside of Laura, and not soon forgot.

Hopefully some of the events will be on KZfaq sadly I can't afford it. Maybe a drive thru on video and maybe the panels. Heck I would pay a bit to watch them on youtube

Lucy, your least favorite episode is actually my favorite. I love how your character comes to apologize to everybody especially Almanzo. People could learn a lot from the humility of your character at that moment. It’s hard as a human to say you were wrong, but your character did it beautifully.

Eliza and Nellie were my favorite characters! Honestly, the secondary characters were much more interesting than the Ingalls.

24:50 In Ms. Flippin's defense, the script supervisor or indeed Michael Landon himself should have corrected her pronunciation of Almanzo. For whatever reason, I never questioned why Half-Pint called him _Manly_ rather than _Mon-lee._ Perhaps it was because I was around eight when I first saw the Wilders on the show (I'm a second-generation, Gen X viewer and didn't initially watch the episodes in chronological order) and it suited him. I wasn't old enough to think logically, but I had some form of prepubescent lust in my heart, or a schoolgirl crush. #imaginaryboyfriend A few minutes later in the podcast: Ah-I forgot he'd said "My friends call me Manny." Hello Everyone, is there any Way to become a Autograph from all the Actors from Little House on the Prairie? Unfortunately I can't Visit the 50 Anniversary Event. I'm living in Germany. It's of course way to far away from me. I'm a Fan since I've watched the Series for the first Time. That was in the Early 90's (I'm 37 now). The Series helped me in Hard Times to find a Light in the Dark. Until today, I am watching my favorite Episodes when I've to go through tough Times. Especially the Episodes "Days of Sunshine, Days of Shadow" always helping me. There are many Episodes who helped me. The Problem is, from the most i only know the German Titles. Here in Germany, the Series is still pretty Popular. She's still running on a few TV Channels. For many, Charles Ingalls is still the "best TV Father of all Times". It's absolutely awesome to see, how much the Series is still in so many Hearts.

With the level of success of this show and the $$$$ made from NBC through syndication all these years... i don't understand why the network doesn't capitalize on the popularity of the show and put together a set for visitors of the complete town.
