I had thought baby birds this small would die if not fed for a few hours, yet somehow the smallest one has clung to life for the past 2 weeks

I don't think it's been that long real time. Chicks grow REALLY fast. If it had been 2 weeks, I think the others would have been much farther along

I feel for the little one,he fought and begged with calories he couldn't spare.Sad videos where he's starving to death,then plucked out of nest

The little one is still alive since I can see it moving, but just barely. He sadly no longer appears to have the strength to lift his head and beg for food. Between that and that his older siblings have positioned themselves on top of him, he's not long for this world.

Did she already discard the smallest? I saw the video of her before and it wasn’t showed even though it was stated in the title. I saw the little baby a few minutes in the beginning it made me so sad ☹️ I haven’t seen the babe for some time so I’m wondering did it happen and you guys just decided to leave it out of the video?

@1:13, is it the fifth chick laying at lower right corner (at 'B' of Birds in nest watermark)? Its head moved little bit but on it way to dying😭 @2:20, the fifth chick is pretty dead, lower right corner. Sibling had a feed then lay on top to sleep😭 @4:50, I think that's the fifth chick head moved at roughly above the word 'Birds' of the watermark. Right under sibling's bum.

The little one was the weakest link, therefore he didn’t survive. He was better off being chicken nuggets 😂

I think he is, I could see his head moving a little. The problem is that his siblings are much bigger than him now, so as we saw, they're so big that he's at the bottom of the pile. He's also still underdeveloped. I admire how long he's been able to hold on, but it probably won't be long now.

I´m confused, I watched another video posted from day 6, that video I´m talking about was posted hours before that one, there were only four of them, and they were sitting on the smallest one which didn´t move.

@@sandraaguayocastillo4680 it probably wasn't moving because it's getting weaker. It can't compete with its older siblings any longer

@@B1izzardHawk He doesn't need to compete no cainism involved, the parents decide where to put the food and they decided not to put in his mouth point.

@@lifeforce3451 i know. This ain't no stork or barn owl, they're not trying to kill him. He's just so small that they're able to be on top to get the food.
