I preferred Samhain's sound/style over the whole john christ metalized, long hair version of Danzig. I don't even consider The Final Descent a Samhain album. Once they got the heavy metal guy in the lineup, it stopped being Samhain.

Lucifuge was a masterpiece.

Misfits, Samhain and Danzig debut album was their best work. 👍

Samhain is one of my favorite bands. There is nothing like them, before or since.
