Got the all clear from the engineer to weld in the new diff mounts and went back in time to an earlier workshop lewis to reinforce the rear subframe and trailing arms.

I’ve been out at sea without youtube for a month so i’m catching up on all your videos since! I just realized this is where the TShirt came from!!!! I’m so sorry but it’s been busy (but fun!) with that job and no fast internet at sea haha. Thanks for call-out; but honestly, you are truly an inspiration and I hope your channel grows! It deserves a LARGE audience! It’s criminally underrated!!!!!! Also of note, it’s because of this channel I started to work on my own car bit by bit! Ya it’s no sweet Ute E30, but an old A3 hatch that is very sentimental to me (drove off from wedding with wife with it, endless roadtrips, etc). So THANK YOU!

G'day mate. You stopped me at the post office the other night and let me know about your build (I appreciate the air freshener and now understand the crab driving it). Finally had a moment to check it out being the long weekend and I ended up binging it all already. Exactly the type of stuff I watch, so really appreciate it. Honestly surprised it never came up on my feed that I am aware of tbh. Also nice to know I might end up seeing this driving around locally or otherwise might get to see it in person some time. Keep on keepin on!

@@blacknightcreations i started My own performance shop this week. Things are going épic. And remember it was all off a suddent. Guess its how it goes ;) the 1 series is getting a new hpfp to make sure i can reach those 320bhp and 600nm. Ill be having a Instagram page for the shop soon with some projects and Will send u when its ready ;)

nice job lewis all the strengthening looks on point and professional better to have it engineered then painted then to have to go back over the work with fresh paint that would suck trust me cheers glenn

I used thoes purple bushings in the rear of my e30 race car. I did 1 race day and I removed them as they move around a lot under load giving you a floating rear end feeling . The stock ones are stiffer than them . I ended up using condor speed shop ones and I got 2 seconds a lap back

For the diff removal? Yeah I probably should have used that instead. I just didn’t want to wait for the mechanic to be finished with it. Too impatient
