This week I'm back in London again - and enjoying Village Life, even in this megalopolis of London! Having grown up in Highgate Village, it was lovely to visit the Highgate Village summer festival, catch up with some old friends, have a bite to eat and drink, and see so many beautiful stalls selling wonderful wares...

When I heard the exuberant opening music I knew you were going to be doing something fun! Thanks for taking us along. What was your lunch called, with the spinach and feta in flat bread? Those churros were so small! In SoCal they're fair food too, but much fatter and longer. Never had chocolate on them, usually they're rolled in cinnamon sugar. Glad you had a nice day!

Hi CA Mom! I think they’re just called flatbreads. The churros in SoCal sound great! I love cinnamon! So glad you could come along with me 🤗

abandening hubbie again , poor sod 🤣😉enjoy your London trip 🙂 lived 12 years in north london , but was not really free as a fulltime carer to enjoy the good parts of london , it looks very nice :) the gin i would not say no to 😆

Hi Jenny, the fair in the square was so much fun, the food was amazing, I actually had to run out for a pastry. All the handmade items for sale were just beautiful. I had a blast watching, so thank you for bringing us along. Love from N.Y.
