How do you feel about mice? “Meh” like Chris, or would you have FREAKED if you were on this trip?

I was going to sleep and decided to watch this for the first time. There is no exaggeration on the word NIGHTMARE on the title. This even doesn't feel like a normal video of you, guys. I am so sorry about all that happened on that trip. It was the WORST 😭

When vacationing in the Bahamas you must accept island time. Sometimes there’s no hotdog buns, power, or cash. If you can get over the inconveniences and work with in these realities the natural beauty is absolutely stunning.

What an incredible adventure! Soo many things went wrong, but props to you for making the most of it! And I love long vlogs! RIP Mavy, you weren't with us long, but we enjoyed the time together!

I love the counter balance you both are to each other in different ways. FYI: My first day of the last 3 vacations were cancelled flight, flat tire, hotel overbooked, left a day later, and on and on. Glad you made the best of it!

awesome video! this is basically every vacation for me because I can't plan my way out of a box. Also good thing it wasn't cockroaches. I lived on grand bahama for 4 months and couldn't get rid of those damn things!

Hey! New friend here. Greeting from Texas. We are a family of 5 who loves to travel. We dream of living on a boat and visiting all these places in a year! ... anywho. Great video. Great the weather was better than expected. Man. Jet ski, bank. Drone, oh man.

Whenever anyone goes to any part of the Bahamas from now until the end of time you either have to, A take your own giant boat and a little boat, B rent a beautiful home somewhere, suck it up and pay the freight. The Bahamas is a nightmare. Take that from a Florida resident who goes all the time. Beautiful be it’s basically camping.

I would have gone. Reason: I went to Fort Myers (I have a right hip replacement and osteoarthritis in my left hip) and had never been on a jet ski. We booked a jet ski tour to “swim with the dolphins”. It was choppy the morning we were to do our tour and I decided to go. I was in incredible pain the entire way to our destination, however, it was worth it because I got to see and touch an actual dolphin!! Even the painful trip back, I was grinning ear to ear from seeing the dolphins.

This was amazing! The pigs, so unexpected! You guys make even the bad stuff awesome!

Got so amped when you said "jet skiis" and immediately sighed when you stated the price. Rip jet skiing dreams.

I actually like mice, but I prefer rats. Not joking, one of my friends in high school had a pet rat that would spend most of the time curled up in her bra. When it was awake it would climb onto her shoulder, run down her arm and then sit on her hand with the tail wrapped around her wrist. The tail is really soft too, had the little guy sitting on my hand a bunch of times and they do the tail thing for stability. Of course, I wouldn’t be as comfortable with the situation you had! Who knows where these mice had been before 😬 By the way, your videos have been glorious for me throughout this whole Covid & lockdown situation! I‘m so glad you documented all your adventures!

Becky and Chris, This. video of your trip was great. Yikes mouse in the house. My wife and I were stationed at the now closed Clark Airforce base in the Philippines. My wife is from Australia and somewhat accustomed to insects. We moved into our house off and set up house. The first few night I was on nights in the Trauma centre on base whilst my wife was at home setting up the house.. my wife mentioned that she kept hearing scratching noises during the night. When se got up to investigate she found nothing. I was curious so I stayed up, tuned off the lights and stayed awake. Up on cue I heard the same noises. Instead of turning on the lights I got up, something crunched under my foot and thong, I turned on my torch I saw what looked like the whole floor moving around my feet. 10 seconds later nothing but silence. I turned the bedroom light on, dispatched to carcass of the Palmetto bug and went back to sleep. Again the noise started on cue, I turned my torch on, shining the light on the floor to the sight of more than 1000 Palmetto bug scurrying across the floor. Long story short, nothing we did seem to stop the onslaught each night other than leaving a light on in the en-suite and monthly spaying. We now live in rural Australia where insects are an important part of the ecosystem. We do what we can to discourage insects and mice in the house, but when the rains come we host a small amount of very tiny rodent like marsupial mice. There pretty cute, don’t each much and have provided a continuous supply of laughter running around the floor, when we catch one, we just put out in the field across the road. Mice we discourage with good housekeeping and live catch traps. I’ll try to get video of the little marsupials as there crazy quick on the wood floors. Be safe. Thanks for all your advice ad support. I'm honestly struggling SO bad with this. I have HORRIBLE motion sickness, and we're going to Ireland in May and my husband wants to go to the Aran Islands. I honestly really want to go, but I've read all of these things about how sick people get on the boats/ferries over there (and it's almost 2 hours long per way) and I don't want to just be miserable... because we all know motion sickness kind of sticks with you. Bleh. But this looks amazing you guys!
