The fire at the School for the Blind was traumatizing to watch as a kid but it kept me from smoking my grandfather’s pipes. Lol

I'm glad they brought up Merlin Olsen -- I just loved him and crush on him when watching reruns.. I got tears in my eyes hearing Patrick talk about him. He really seemed like such a great man. And great to see Patrick. He seems so bright - -and really kind of not like an actor - and I mean that in a very good way. Really I love all these folks!

One hilarious moment on the show that I never hear anyone talk about it in the episode 7x07 - Divorce, Walnut Grove Style. I have never laughed so hard as when Laura confronted Brenda Sue in front of Nellie's Restaurant and the key phrase was, " NO YOU WITCH, I FOUND OUT." They then fought and Caroline broke it up, but it's one of the few times Nellie wasn't a part of the fight, but had that big eyed surprised look on her face as Caroline was dealing with Laura and Nellie said, "What happened?" She then turns and looks out where the fight happened with the classic Nellie big eyed stare. Poor Charles never did get that picture window installed and as Nell's said, "I here it's a real PANE.".....LMAO
