At 65 years old, I've been watching Richard for at least 4 decades and always loved him. This video shows how seriously kind Richard is, and we rarely have seen him serious. Rest in Peace dear Richard - hysterical smart man. Marc is outstanding as well. Thoroughly loved this discussion. Thanks!!!

Interviewed Richard Lewis for my newspaper in Canada about 15 years ago. Best interview of 25 years in journalism. Just a funny, kind, thoughful man. I was sick at home with the flu, so he called me there while out shopping. It was supposed to be a half-hour interview and we talked for nearly three hours, basically trading schtick. Gave me a lot of confidence that I could hang in a funny conversation, because I'm autistic and was still figuring that stuff out.

It was not so long time ago I saw "Curb" for the first time here in Sweden and Richard Lewis became quickly my favorite. He had this natural selfdistanced and dark humor I loved so. I was really sad the other day when I saw in the newspapers that he is no longer with us. But all the others "up there in heaven" will have great laughs now when Richard have joined them all, including my brother who passed away the 29 of January this year. Hopefully he will meet Richard Lewis and have a laugh with this great comedian, who gave so much from within himself to his audience.

Classic Richard! He may be sick, but he is still so GD funny! Love them talking about and 'mildly' doing Rodney. Just always love the best comedians talkin' shop. We've lost, and are losing the best! As a teen I was addicted to Carson, Cavett, and Tom Snyder. I'd be up watching them til 2am every weeknight. So glad to be able to revisit some great old moments via KZfaq. To me, humor is as vital as the air we breathe! Peace.
