At 12:02 king E3 by Anand shows he has more experience than magnus playing such matches in tournaments ( be it classical or short time formats), he played with the magnus's mind that he can be in an advantageous position and can win a piece. At 5:52 after white knight captured on g5 would it be good for black to play knight capture on g4? If the white rook on g2 moves then the black queen could infiltrate to h2.

White can actually give the e to black for two reasons. First if black accepts the pawn the E file opens immediately and since will be ready to castle and rook can control that file. Secondly whites light square has the option of retreating if necessary.

I really hope Magnus chooses to defend his championship, but the rumors that he will not because he knows that he's in decline seem to have some merit. Then again, anyone can have a bad tournament. I feel like Magnus would be doing himself, his fans, and the game a disservice if he simply abdicates his throne. Love your videos. Thank you for this one.

Magnus has no obligation to anyone. Even his so called 'fans' will start badmouthing him if he under performs this tournament. He has done more than enough to have his name compared with Garry Kasparov and Bobby Fisher. But if he feels upto it and wins this time, quoting Kramnik, he will be the greatest chess player of all time.

At a buffet, I personally sneak corn into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 boiled corn ears in my jacket pockets. It is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corn thinking they were part of the buffet.
