Nah. He just needs to grow up and realize how to counter range. Magic spam is arguably worse. Range was no different in the past. The only change is that people have gotten better and non ranged players think that its not their fault for losing fights.

First of all I'm not a ranger but having to take up all your inventory just to hold arrows and meds is ludicrous actually but now you want to add weight no bro obviously do not play the game other then a casual

My advice would be balancing ranged slightly better. Not this, but instead just like they're doing with magic spam reduce the amount that phys power affects ranged items along with additional. This would make high end Rangers more balanced and shift the focus to doing some ranged damage before closing in with melee, instead of all ranged. Currently high end Rangers rule the roost and this would fix that but they would also need to balance barbarians a little bit as well. Remove Savage roar from them and I think that would be enough. Would be interesting to see how it pans out.

The problem with this is that the “long game” can be easily decimated by a third party or by a good ranger that knows you’re playing safe and just leaves

@@botuptop9345 You didn't say the same thing, you basically said Rangers are bad and it's a skill issue that others can't kill them. Rangers are the strongest solo class in the game currently at high end, if you had ever reached that level then you'd know that. Three shots from my usual kits to the chest is about 165 damage with a survival bow. Kills most players, sometimes need a fourth or fifth if I miss. You have PDR? I have up to 55% armor penetration for 8 seconds. You have move speed? I'm above cap so I can move and shoot at near max speed. You have a crossbow? I have a good amount of HP. You push after hitting me once? You'll probably step in a trap where I either kill you or take the time to reset and will almost certainly kill you now that you're in a trapped zone. You try to use a pillar and shoot out with a crossbow? I'll leave you alone and just wait for you to make a mistake or the previous step. Your choices are to avoid, push and probably die or try to play with a pillar and crossbow to which I could just out wait you until someone else comes and third parties. Time is always on the Rangers side. You don't have many options and have to play to the Rangers game which is what annoys others. Cwiss, point isn't bad but it ignores the points that I typed above and generally is part of the issue, you either have to wait and hope they are idiots who make mistakes or avoid altogether or play to the Rangers advantage. People just want the ranged meta to shift. Personally I don't want them changing it until they up dealing with cheaters. If they remove ranged meta but cheaters are still common, then I'm out.

Infinite kiting plus easy area denial with traps means that fighters need to use a bow to fight them which means you have to basically be a weaker ranger to compete
