She’s amazing! Also: the fact that Penelope was able to stall the suitors for as long as she had in the story is not only amazing but also says, “that’s why she’s his wife!” Behind a wise man is a wise woman

I agree with your statement on Penelope! But I have a feeling Odysseus isn't really that wise. I perceive him more as cunning, strategic and eloquent

@Mythical Swiftie Odysseus is wise, he won't let you fall on the well, but if you get pushed into it, he won't doubt twice in jumping in with you and find a way to get you out of it. He's a genius in mostly everything, and in Act 2 everything and everyone was against him, he had to change, and changing is a part of life that only wise people learn to embrace, and even then, change takes time to adapt to, which is why Odysseus is so unstable in act 2, he's not uses to being a monster, for after all, through the entirety of act 1 he was just a man

Like every hero Odysseus has had his flaws, and he has faced many challenges due to them. But what Penelope did for him for twenty years, shows how devoted she was, no matter what the risk. Any man will be lucky to have someone like her.

I’m late to this, but wouldn’t Odysseus’ case be more like: “Behind every wise man, there are 2 wise women”? Penelope since she was able to stall for so long, but also Athena (Goddess of Wisdom)…

Ok, why EVERY SINGLE CAST of this musical is perfect?! I mean, Athena has this goddess and wise powerful voice, Zeus sounds like a powerhouse, Calypso is kind, romantic and a bit naive, Ares feels as moved by rage, each Circe's word feels like a spell drowned in magic, and now there's Penelope, who's basically like "I miss my husband and fight for him, but if you think I need Odysseus to protect me, you don't know me". She sounds resourceful, resilient and damn smart

This song, everything just makes me feel some sort of way. I cannot describe it at all. This song is absolutely beautiful. I listen to this over and over and over again, it gives me some sort of high between excitement, comfort, hopefulness for the future. Like a hug on a sunny day but curled up in a dimly lit room with the person you love. And that is hardly the right words for how this song makes me feel. I love this song, and I love this entire musical. There is just something about this musical that awakens my entire being and it is fantastic. I love Epic.

I wonder if the animators are gonna give her glasses now. They base a lot of the designs after the actors, but a lot of them had to make Penelope designs before seeing this amazing singer since she was talked about in other songs.
