Legit funny cause they have no real conception of the context but will still act in that manner. Im not happy to admit but were in a sinking ship, and at some point you have to decide who's most important and who isn't. Cultures live and die, and it makes no sense to sink with them because you were born in them. Very saddened by the hubris on display, but the deadwood will burn eventually so make sure not to get caught in it, friends.

Governor Abbot just signed recommending doctors send the state to check children who want to transition. #JeffYounger was the speaker at a club meeting at UNT Denton. He has been through years of legal battles. He is trying to speak to #savejames from transitioning. But #JudgeMaryBrown ruled the other way.

@@fablesguykol3025 from what I know, the child is in the mother's custody, but does receive visitation with his father. The mother also cannot do any medical procedures on the boy without the father's permission. Hopefully the father and son will form a strong bond as time goes on. It pisses me off that the school is going along with this and the courts even allowed this to continue. This is a child. When I was a kid, I wanted to be the green or blue power ranger (because I wore overalls all the time and had a lot of green shirts and socks) but my parents didn't treat me like a boy. They just let me play. Kids do that all the time, and people, grown adults are ruining their life for it.

I feel so sorry for all the young children in this day and age... If I was 10 years old, I would probably be trans. I had periods of feeling like a girl and wishing I was a girl. And I grew out of it, and worked through it. But none on the trans side will even listen to the counter arguments. Instead, its just REEEEEEEE!

This is what happens when schools start tolerating bad behavior and at the same time implement a zero tolerance bullying policy . We now have an entire generation of kids who believe that they behave as badly and act as obnoxious as they want and never suffer any consequences.

My aunt divorced when I was a kid in the 80s. Her ex is a real paranoid schizo. My cousins are schizoaffective. As kids they told me their dad made them wear winter clothes in summer and vice versa. Quantifiable psychological abuse. What that mother is doing is effectively the same thing. It drives the child to dissociative identity or a schizoid break, depending on the child's genetic makeup.

The problem is associating natural peer pressure, with targeted harassment. What we call bullying now is the former, just natural behavior of social animals controlling for degenerate behavior. Actual bullying, such as an individual or small groups targeting a specific person for torment, that shit is degenerate behavior. Shunning these freaks and making it extremely plain to see they aren't wanted, that's not bullying. That's culling weakness, which is contagious by simply existing and places a malus on the entire's groups chances of success.

@@ekscalybur Excellent point. That's an important distinction. They may look similar from the outside, but one seeks to serve the greater good, while the other is done out of malice and a desire to hurt and/or dominate others. One thing that I find frustrating with progressive thinking is that there is far too much ambiguity, which tends to result in good ideas getting tossed out with the bad, and bad elements weaseling their way in the back door by attaching to elements that have already been accepted. Unfortunately, ambiguity seems to be part of the overall strategy.

@@gabeo9474 Bullying, shaming, judgment: all necessary things to keep people from going wild and ruining their lives. This reminds me of 2 older female coworkers I had in 2011 who would "sl*t shame" a younger female coworker. They told me it was a good thing because a little shame was necessary to keep her from opening her legs everyday and becoming a single mom: the girl had no dad, wild mom and sister (single mom) and was on the edge of following in their footsteps with how she talked and dealt with men. I didn't understand it back then but 11 years later the girl is now married with 3 kids while her other female family members are even worse off. Long winded point to say things like shame, bullying, deprivation (not binge watching Netflix everyday and working hard so that way it's more rewarding when you sit down to watch that show: the way we used to do things before tech and streaming took over) are necessary for so many different reasons. But now media, politicians, big tech have destroyed that by telling people to do whatever you want, have no inhibitions, it's not your fault, fake news etc etc. It's like Jordan Peterson said: a little deprivation is a good thing.

It 100% was. It built character, helped identify societal norms, let you decide if they should be challenged and you wanted to (the character building part), helps you build confidence (if you have enough character to stand up to it), and the way you handle it gives you a very clear glimpse into yourself (specifically your strengths and weaknesses to nurture and/or address them). It’s a horrible experience, but it’s a massive catalyst for growth, not just for the people involved, but those on the outside to defend the person bully as well.

As a farmer, sometimes a field of crops is so badly infested with pests weeds and parasites that's the only solution is to slash and burn the entire crop, then you plow the ashes into the Earth to rejuvenate soil eventually new healthier and stronger crops will grow where before there were only weak and sickly crops. Sometimes a crop simply cannot be saved and you have to start over. Just some farming advice.

Here's my biggest problem with the whole thing. James was asked why he thinks hes a girl. He responded because I love girls.The kid's response indicates a complete lack of understanding of what being a girl even means. Somehow this is an adequate response for a diagnosis of gender dysphoria in a child. Which in turn leads to "treatment"

That item which says, "The court finds that James appears comfortable as a male, female, or gender nonspecific," tells you a lot. Imagine asking a kid about that and expecting to get a response you can use to make an important decision.

If I had screamed like that when I was the age of James Younger, let alone this 17 year old, know what my parents would have done? I know because I distinctly remember watching a friend of mine scream to get her way, so I figured I'd try it. Bam. Smacked me full force across the face. Shockingly, I never tried it again. Instead I had to learn how to express myself using actual words.

Very disturbing that people think their voices will only be heard if they act like toddlers. Actually, that's an insult to toddlers. I work with kids and I've never seen as bad a temper tantrum as I did in this video. You know how you stop a tantrum? You stop giving them attention and only listen and engage after they are calm again.

I feel like kids are so disillusioned by the "college experience" they get there and the peer pressure to conform beats high school by a thousand because they think it's the "real world". UNT people have always been nuts...they're more left than UT Austin. The video of him talking to the little guy about the abuse his mom puts him through made me rage to the point of tears. Both of my son's were incredibly open to suggestion at that age - she should lose her custody she's destroyed any chance at happiness that kid had. What a fucking joke

If this is the guy I'm thinking if, the mom, who's pushing this stuff onto the kid, she's the STEP MOM while the dad is the BIOLOGICAL FATHER My wife is a step parent and she loves my boy dearly, but I don't understand how a step parent is awarded custody over the biological parent

Stepparent isn't quite accurate. The mother used donor eggs (I'm guessing due to an infertility issue), so she's not biologically related to the child, but it's not like he's from a previous marriage.

This is, I can't even laugh at it, it's terrifying and depressing. Having your child brainwashed by a lunatic narcissistic mother and then this father goes around to universities, centres of higher education and places designed for education, discussion and exchanges, explaining his personal circumstances and what he sees as the potential pitfalls and complications that the Transexual Cause will encounter regarding Gender-Morphism in children and instead of any of them listening to him, asking for clarification, questioning or debating him they instead choose to literally drown his speech out with a cacophony of noise, feeling unassailably righteous the whole time, all the while and accusing him of being a bigoted, hateful monster... It's actually just a very sad, depressing depiction of what parts of the world now deems acceptable. If you can't have a serious academic conversation at a university then where can you have it? It's insane to think that the KZfaq Comment Section is a more hospitable place for discourse on this subject than an actual university...
