This is why I love Epica, yet another masterpiece! Love that they are not afraid to try always something new and that they do lot's of collabs on the upcoming EP called "The Alchemy Project", can't wait for the release I pre-ordered my physical copy! Epica is by far the best symphonic metal band in my humble opinion. There is no day that I don't listen and or watch them, they are like a drug in a good way! Great reaction dude! Thank you!

I was there as well. The recording it this song’s music video took place during EPICA’s 20th Anniversary Show at the 013 in Tilburg, the Netherlands. I was there myself, but I was standing on the left at the bar, so you probably won’t see me in the video as well. Oh well, at least I had a great time. Epica is one of the greatest and most legendary bands of all time, but this melody is almost _exactly_ The Crestfallen by Soilwork. That said, as a fellow musician, I understand that this happens sometimes. Honest mistake. I once "created" a melody that ended up being the theme to Titanic.... haha
