I'm old. I've been an Epica listener since 2003. This album is literally new level of metal music (Not just symphonic metal). While trying to remain human in a country ruled by a dictatorship, I always connected with Epica. It makes me happy that people discover Epica.

Since 2009 with Resign to Surrender as the first song I've listened to. Design your Universe is still my favorite album so far but Omega is quickly climbing

Wow! They aren't that obscure. Are you a slave to corporate radio or something? One who listens to what they feed you. You definitely got a lot of catching up to do. Design your Universe and Quantum Enigma are two of their best albums. Catch them on tour this year with Sabaton. You won't regret it.

Yeah the video really got me thinking. In my interpretation, the little girl is Simone's inner child, asleep and trying to find a part of herself in the dream world, that has been repressed. And then she finds it, represented by the creepy talisman thing. That the 'guardians' who watch over (or guide) her while she sleeps seem to have wanted her to find. Really spooky message. Love it. Just my 2 cents.

This is my favourite song on Omega after a couple of listens. Simone's voice technique in the verse is beautiful and unique! Well done Epica on not being afraid to think out of the box once again!!

Yeah the MV is like a mini horror movie. It gave me chills. I interpreted Mark as being a ghoul in the child's dream. Mark's growling part has a perfect place in this.

Épica transmite cosas que en otras bandas como Nightwish, Therion, Xandria e incluso After Forever no he observado: la estética. Musicalmente tienen esa impronta acuñada por sus músicos, y el valor agregado de Simone. La de antes, la de ahora. Simone ya es y será lo que Freddy Mercury a Queen o Robert Plant a Led Zeppelin. Irremplazables, incomparables. Y todo eso se ve reflejado en la puesta de sus conciertos y sus maravillosos videos.

It's called 'The Skeleton key', because this song hits so deep inside you that your bones feel it all. From the earthshaking basslines, to the epic gutteral vocals, brilliant drumming and Simone's powerful vocals. Amazing.
