In this part we talk about Keenan Milton, who got on the team a year or so after it formed. He was one of the best before his tragic death by drowning in 2001. The legendary 2003 skate video Yeah Right! features a short prologue paying tribute to Keenan. Every story we heard about Keenan is what a great guy and friend he was, and how much he is missed.
Later on, we catch up with Stevie Williams to hear how Chocolate inspired him to start his own brand, DGK.

I was on a rollercoaster ride of emotions on this episode...nearly teared up after hearing everyones story about Keenan's death, then Kenny shows up at the end and saves brings my hopes back up.

I gave up drinking over a year ago after struggling w it for 20 years. I'm 38. I tell myself 'I've had my share.' And that's true. I want to keep skating and creating and not all of my friends have made it.

Damn just watching the Keenan footy and seeing how nice of a person he was that was taken way too was makes me so grateful that I escaped that drug scene alive. RIP KEENAN MILTON.

Sitting here, watching this with a 'never used' Keenan Milton 'cod liver oil' board hanging on the wall behind me. So very sad but so heart warming that he touched the lives of so many people!

Started 2002 but always felt a special attachment to Keenan first time I saw footage. Thank you for sharing those difficult moments. Man that's painful and I feel really sad knowing you all had to go through that experience.

I remember skating the usc blocks and seeing those teams roll up and all the kids would just sit down for a clinic then riding to Wilshire and serrano and there would be the menace guys and back to just being in that presence. Sadly one night the chocolate guys we're pretty lit and yeah they jacked my boy for his board he stayed longer than he should've of and it was dark and they got him. There's a legend that Berra got jacked and the usc crew jay and roland and other guys came through for Berra and got his board back and he smacked one of thieves with his venture trucks to the face.

Always wondered about how he died, heard he drowned but never could find a story that detailed. This is awesome! Always hate when they just say someone dies and leave you wondering.....over 10yrs!

Damn man, I didn’t know that was really how Keenan Milton died... I always thought that he had just got really drunk and basically passed out in the pool and drowned. He was one of the greatest skaters of that time and it’s unfortunate that that is how he went. I feel bad for Lee man, cause although it wasn’t his fault, you can see why he’d feel that way.. RIP Keenan

I was a very young when Keenan died. I believe it was on the cover of Transworld magazine. I was 9 years old and even then I was very sad that someone from the community had died.

So depressing to hear about Keenan. The fact he was able to go to an island on the other side of the world and was able to find packs of coffee to eat unfortunately shows how much of that stuff can take over someone’s life. Beautiful testimonials here. RIP

Always irks me when something like this happens and people that live "clean" lives that don't do drugs, when telling stories about an incident involving drugs they feel the need to explain themselves in a polar opposite light. Antwuan should watch this. He is talented beyond belief, but has all but thrown it away to party and act hard and with his enablers on Baker helped him create his junkie-criminal image to sell boards. Incredibly to this this day he wants to sustain that image while feigning interest in a turnaround, but I fear in the end it's gonna do him in. Better to be a sober "kook" than dead ahead of your prime.

It's not a simple drowning though. Grown men don't drown in pools. It was a product of drug and alcohol abuse. Hopefully his death can shed light on the dangers of all of that, so others can learn from him passing. So sad. Rest Easy Keenan.
