I had psychological problems way before I started getting seizures. From my perspective the epilepsy is a minor issue in the background of my life. The 'elephant in the room' of my life is and has always been the anxiety disorder. There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about it.
if he had a seizure and his friends asked him out i bet he wouldnt have the energy , does he realy understand how you feel after a seizure how you brain feels hurts

Very good presentation. There is this false belief that if you can control your seizures through medication then every is okay. Listening to Dr. DeMarco the side effects of the anti-seizure medication over a lifetime does have negative consequences. Also if the seizure still occur, even in on an very infrequent basis, that is another psychological issue that the person to overcome. Surgery may be the best solution to get off the medication and to eliminate seizures.

CBT was 100% effective. Giving the anxiety and depression a face. And separating yourself. Is effective.
