This is an amazing video..I am suffering from severe anxiety and fear thinking of the next seizure and Chronic fear and anxiety does produce another seizure. A truthful and strong attitude of I don't want to exit any feeling or emotion in mind has reduce a lot of seizures and enhanced my life. I stopped my medication recently and got another , now i have to build my strength and courage again.

This is the total story of my life. It explained all the downsides I have in life due to epilepsy and also game me hope that maybe i can stop thinking of it as punishment and start hoping

Acceptance is what allowed me to give myself permission to take time off work to focus on my health. Epilepsy has completely flipped my world upside down. But you know what they say, “when one door closes, another opens.”

A gratitude journal is very helpful. Prayer, and faith in God is also a key factor. I use my epilepsy and my positive attitude concerning my illness, to bring a focus to Christ and His power in all things, and to bring glory to God therein. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28

I had this really scary moment where my mind and body both froze up and it felt like a combination of an aura and a panic attack. My breathing was out of control and my body stiffened up, afterwards my body felt exhausted as if I just ran a 5k. Scary and I couldn’t tell if it was anxiety or an aura.

So for my Aura i will hear conversations i have had in the past, or like voices ive heard in the past just before I have a seizure. If i am walking from one room to another or if i am standing up when i start hearing them my body freezes and i have to stand there and listen to the voices of hell (what i call them) till my body seizes up and blacks out. I have recently been having them multiple times a week for a year straight and sleep about 24 to 48 hours after one. It has been the worst year of my life. Had to move back in with my parents and my Girlfriend now ex, left because she couldnt handle my worsening condition.
