Hello!
On the latest edition, it's back to Orkney for some time on Eday. I mostly compiled some small vignettes of daily life. I personally like this type of format in other vlogs and enjoy editing them. There is knitting and I share some treasures I brought back from the islands.
Hope this finds you well and in good spirits.
Sarah

An RV will be a wonderful way to see the Yukon. I so hope everything goes smoothly for you. We are having a much above average wildfire season as I am sure you have heard. There are currently over 800 fires burning in British Columbia. The Yukon wildfire bulletin is updated on Wednesdays. Things can change in a heartbeat with a little rainfall. Wishing you safe and happy travels and looking forward to updates on your travel and knitting and canoeing adventures!

Ah, Folk Shawls was one of my first purchases before Ravelry, as well. I knit Stora Dimun in Nutiden, also, a couple of years ago in Rose Quartz. I'm happy to be a new Patreon member! Thank you for all of your inspiring and beautiful content. ❤

Thank you Donna, It's nice to know someone else knit a folk shawl in nutiden and survived. I so appreciate your financial investment in the project...thank you!

Lovely blog as usual, so thoughtful. How lucky to see a hen harrier, they've been heavily persecuted so great you saw one. Just an FYI that they are a different bird to a goshawk.

Your aesthetic runs parallel to mine. My heart is in my throat for the entire time that your blog runs. Thank you for sharing your travels with us. Thank you for your inspiration. I was so excited about the book the "Wild Light", that I ordered it while watching you, so I needed to go back to watch what I had missed. I feel hopeful seeing the beauty in your art. I sometimes feel the world is crumbling under my feet, but you are another hand to hold. I continue to pick up my needles for another day and take comfort in wool.❤

I really appreciate your inspiration to use older patterns and patterns in books. I also enjoy knitting from books, but I find myself forgetting to look through them when I want to cast something on.

I seem to be drawn to Scotland these days, if only on KZfaq. Between you , Corrine Clare and her videos of Rachel's croft, the Albanach knitter from the Isle of Arran and Ailie on the Thoughtful Knitter I'm loving it. Your colorwork sweater is stunning as are the many treasures you brought home from your trip. Enjoy your travels to the Yukon and your RV adventures.

I always love the blue and green of the Scottish islands. Funnily enough I just watched a video from Woolly Mammoth Fibre Co. (N. Ireland) where she talked about her struggles with Nutiden, sounded similar.

PS: The ring design would look lovely reincarnated as a cable design on the bottom edging of a shawl or sweater.....hint hint!

So so beautiful! What joy to be part of the Scottish islands, even for a short time! When you mentioned seeing a lapwing, my ears perked up. I have not seen one, but the colorway "Lapwing" in Alice Starmore's Hebridean wool is my "favorite-est" color ever! I made her Irish Moss sweater in that colorway. I turned her pullover into a cardigan. I digress. I enjoyed the episode. Thank you
