The Technology Curse strikes again!!!

Shan is hands down the best batter for Pakistan in these conditions. He can drive, cut, pull. Plays well against spin, pace. Seems to have got a lot to time to play. In first two tests, Pakistan dominated only when Shan was out there, scoring run quickly, taking the game away from Aussies. Australia is a place where intent/positive cricket is rewarded, for instance, today, counter attack by Rizwan and Aamir, Shan in last two tests, Rishabh Pant, Kohli, Rahane the golden Aussie gen, Ponting, Hayden, Hussey, even Smith(not in this series), Clarke, Warner, most successful batters in Australia are those who have played positive/dominating cricket.

i absolutely love that painting of the PCT in that "qawwali" setting. Someone in one of your earlier videos asked you about it and you mentioned the artist. I tried to google that artist but could not find that painting anywhere. I would love to just see a full and clear picture of that painting. I think it is iconic🙂 By the way, love the podcast!!!😍

India's batting average handsomely pulled down by 5-6 due to that 36 all out. Another thing, since the dawn of WTC, nobody makes flat wickets anymore except Pakistan, maybe. Also, they used to prepare relatively flatter pitches for Pakistan's tour to Australia because historically Pakistan keeps on churning out world class bowlers and more greener wickets for Indians because India produces great batters. For Instance in 2018 India series, 500 was scored only in 4 tests that too in Sydney by India which is historically a Batters paradise whereas in 2019 Pakistan series, in both the test Aussies Scored 500+, also thanks to inexperienced bowling attack, none the less. So, point is, historically, they backed their batters to out bat Pakistan and out bowl India. Similarly, for Ashes or against SA or NZ who always produce technically sound batters, they back their bowlers to win them test matches. Off Course, one would rate Asad Shafiq's 137 at fast and bouncy Gabba higher than Younis Khan's 175 at Sydney's flat track. Stats are good but do not show the whole picture. Context to those stats are more important.

Ahmer bhai not to get senti on you, but my dad had an operation and we watched the 2nd day together in his hospital room. Later at night I shared this video with aba and we ended up listening to it together in what was a very special me and aba moment. Ahmer Bhai, I get the VVS Laxman and Salman Ali Agha similarity, it becomes clear if you look for it. Kal highlights dekhte waqt, I thought about what you said. They have a slightly weird leaning stance, exceptional slip fielders, look tall but actually aren't 😂, strong on the leg side, slight ambivalence on the crease (Because VVS Laxman is a Hyderabadi and there is a certain mannerisms which come with it, you look at Mohammad Azharuddin as well ❤) I am a Hyderabadi too but grew up in Karachi but for some reason have a lot of relatives with similar mannerisms. For some reason the leg side flick just comes naturally to us 😂, bas ankh band ker ke khelte leg side pe. Salman just needs to add that wristy legside flick 😊

why is imam-ul-haq so bad? its been infuriating to watch him bat in the first two tests
