Man, I can't get enough of this podcast. Great content all around. The message you guys pass on to non-hunters, hunters and sickly obsessed hunters like myself is awesome for the industry and always inspiring. It's a breath of fresh air to hear stories of hunters showing true emotion when it comes to taking the life of an animal too. Anyway, awesome podcast, I binge listen at work and learn so much it's unreal

Interesting Pod cast , I don't follow these much it just popped up on my faceturd. I have to say it has become so annoying to watch hunting shows with a guy in a tree. who points out every product he uses, down to the camera arm, There hasn't been anything Original in some time. the industry as most people put it ( can we agree that is what ruins the sports?) doesn't let you see the real story or the deer you had to track for miles. I haven't even seen this guys movies, but I like the attitude toward the video making. The more real the better. Everyone is afraid of John Q public being offended. Hunting is brutal ,its tough on you , its tough on the animal ,and ultimately the kill ,is the death of the animal, and the feeding of family. My friends wont just kill a deer they want that trophy buck, I think that is part of the "industry " making guys think its only ok to shoot trophy animals. I was raised a hunter and the meat was more important then the horns. I do hunt for the big one with the bow, but if the season is coming to an end and I haven't shot a deer , I'll take what comes along, because it feeds me. Just my two cents and maybe I'll try watching these movies, and let you know what I think.

mike nutto ~ Thanks for sharing. You would sincerely appreciate Donnie's film, "River's Divide." And his short film called "Who We Are." Who we are explains "who hunters are" from Donnie's mind. I often share these films with my non hunting friends--it helps them understand that it means much more to us than what is portrayed on hunting TV. Thanks for the comment!

That first question Vincent answers is odd. How does Donnie Vincent afford to hire a film crew to follow him around the world hunting. Money is always the bottom line even if you don't have to work for it.

james c ~ I couldn't agree less. No offense, but money has little to do with it. The guys at Hush connect--and they're not rich. And I know hundreds of dudes with more money than Donnie who don't connect. Money doesn't buy happiness and it doesn't buy authenticity. Donnie connects because he's real--not because he has money. Thats my 2 cents.

thanks for the reply. and I hear what you are saying. It costs a ton of money and takes a ton of time to pull off those films. someone is paying the money....and it does take more money than the average hunter can expend. yes mr. Vincent seems very real but the ability to connect as he does is not free.

Pulling up the pic is fine and in the context of the podcast, but Snyder was on the phone for over 2 minutes after 24:10....just wish people could stay present and engaged, not needing to be checking stuff all the time.

Aron Snyder, we all need to work on it...Maybe I'm over aware of it because a while back I was beginning to catch myself starting to grab my phone to just check the time or check what that message preview said or whatever... And I would miss something someone was saying or have to have them repeat something.... Just hate this aspect of technology and always being connected.
