5 ай бұрынWell, we finally got our hands on it! Joining Andy and Tom this FEST weekend for our review of the Underdubbed Mix of "Band On The Run" is none other than Mr. David Gargalino, original co-host of 2Legs.
We go track by track on the new mix. Vinyl and CD for all 3 of us! Tom gives his opinion on the 1/2 Speed remaster as well (Andy & David had not listened as of recording date). No OBI strip with the Deluxe Box, so what do we need? Another Copy!

I really like this release. Jet, Let Me Roll It, and Band on the Run really stood out to me. :)

No Words is perhaps the most improved song, but all have a special touch of genius.

Great video guys! I really love the remastered album and the under dubbed mixes. I definitely see myself going back to these. I still would like to hear the rehearsal tape that Paul did with Denny and Henry before they left (Chip Madinger says there is a tape that exists but might be lost to the private sector). I did find Andy’s comment interesting about the spine on the U.S. version stating Paul McCartney & Wings because I have a U.S. version that has just Paul McCartney on the spine….go figure? Great seeing the three of you talk about this….take care!

Here's to the 60th anniversary to include the Original '74 Quad Mix on some sort of medium in 2033/2034 😂

Agreed! These should have been on the Archive release. Where's the "Back to the Egg" and "London Town" Archive releases???

BAND ON THE RUN RELEASE DATES. WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 5TH 1973. US. FRIDAY DECEMBER 7TH 1973 UK. THIS IS NOT A 50TH ANNIVERSARY ISSUE IT IS 2 MONTHS LATE.
