TIP: if you run out of health position you could use Achidna's Fangs to restore death's health.

It's funny when the Humans here are so fast and covered in embedded blades (anyone notice they look kind of like Draven with their hoods) and scampering on all fours, yet in the first game they were just slow zombies plodding on two legs. I guess maybe the Earth sequence here takes place in a different region of Earth, but still... different designs for Humans in different games that are still undead Humans caused by the same Apocalypse... seems strange to me.

Maybe it’s WHEN the horsemen arrive on Earth rather than WHERE. Remember, in this scenario, Hell won instead of Heaven when they fought on Earth during the premature apocalypse. So all of that demonic energy is slowly going to seep into the corpses of humanity over one hundred years and corrupt them. That’s why the reanimated corpses look so different. Death and Fury saw them in the earlier stages of their corruption while War saw them in their later stage. These are just my thoughts. But I hope this clears things up.

Darksiders 2 happens before Darksiders 1 or rather in the 100 years of War's imprisonment so you could theoretically argue that a century ago the Swarm was more dangerous because it was shortly after the Apocalypse while in Darksiders 1 it has been going on for a hundred years. After Death killed many strong "Commanders" in the Swarm it is also likely that it has fallen apart for the most part which is why the DS1 Zombies are drastically weaker than back in the day.

I like the holy gun (Salvation) as well. But I wonder if it and the demonic gun (Gorehammer) can be combined in some way. It could be called ‘Resolution’ and be angelic but have its ammunition design be more like the Gorehammer.

Earth is where I died on my nightmare run. I was getting to the last piece of the rod. Didn't time a dodge right against a suffering, had over half my health left, died.

In the video you say that heavy weapon would be best because of the big arcing swings they have but when I did this my first time through the game I used fast weapons and found that the Tremor Smash/Earthbreaker combo really helped against the small enemies because it handled a full 360 area around Death. Of course this is just another suggestion for those who like using the faster secondary weapons.

I honestly rushed every enemy with the cannon it may not be a smart decision but I like close clutch fights this was my favorite part of the game

Oh wow, you actually have audio during the earth mission, here I am playing the deathinitive edition and the audio completely goes out at the start of the earth mission…hoping it comes back. Way to be “deathinitive” edition.

I fast traveled out of earth and when i came back i couldn't shoot anything. Anf nothing attacks me.? I'm so confused

Whenever I fight the "big dudes" if I dash out of the way it simply turns and hits me anyways. and I can barely get back up in time to not he hit again. if I teleportation dash, same thing, I get turned on and destroyed.

Is it possible to do this dungeon without the gun(s)? I'm currently carving my way through now without it. I really, really, really stink at fps's and hate them with a passion so I'm hoping to avoid using the gun as much as possible. So far I've had to keep my aegis guard up almost constantly when fighting (not hard considering the wrath gen when I swing my hammer) and use teleport slash as a mini-potion, along with using lots of potions and having no choice but to use reaper form for the 4-handed guys (they really hurt). Anyone have any advice for completing the dungeon with absolutely minimal use of the gun?

The only enemies you absolutely need either gun for are the Suffering and the Noss. Gorehammer works wonders for the Suffering, Salvation for the Noss. At least I prefer Salvation on the Noss. Everything else doesn't absolutely require either gun, it can just make is somewhat easier.

I think you're good, besides the AOE weapon I hate the guns too- they restrict your strafing and dodging movement way too much, even your camera rotation speed. But as the previous reply said, the Noss are bitches without a Gorehammer or Salvation cannon. I would think the Suffering could be fought without the cannons as well, like most of the big heavy hitting foes in this game it's just keep on your toes with the dodging. But the Noss are best taken down with ranged cannons.

I haven't seen all your videos, so i've got a question? How do you get health regen so fast? I have a stone and a piece of my armor that gaves me health regen but not that fast.

The whole earth sequence is glitched for me. No music, sounds other than explosions, and it skips deaths voice parts on cut scenes.

And what relic I missed, so I can cross check what area it might be... By the end of earth I had: 11 etu-goths, 8 renagoths and 2 khagoths. Which one am I missing if this is what I had at the end of Earth?

This is my first time following a walk through - It has been fun! but DAM IT!!! I should have listened to the message at the beginning of this episode!!! came back to play and found i have lost my saved game!!! thats alot of hsr down the drain!!!That sucks!! Can I get my saved game back some how??? or is that it? Kiss that good bye and start again?????????? Not that i have the time to do that all over again!!!! Worst mission in the game because it is basically a whole different game. As a Zelda-like game it's all about the dungeons and puzzling and the combat in this game. Earth sequence throws everything out the window you worked to obtain until now. Your gear is useless, your weapons are useless, your abilities are useless, your combos and your items are useless. Here have a shooting sequence for over 2 hours that is way harder than it should be. And should you dare to try this mission without using the guns you're in for a bad time.

I don't know a whole lot about the bible. Let me get this straight. Angelic warriors from Heaven are known as The Hellguard?

In this game, yes. But in reality, I don’t think so. The game series are basically a what if scenario about if Hell won instead of Heaven. And the Horsemen of the Apocalypse aren’t actual people like they are in these games. In reality, they’re symbols of what will happen in the world before Jesus Christ comes back a second time. In the Bible, the horsemen are War, Death, Pestilence and Famine. I don’t think they happen at the end of the world in that exact order. But reading the book of Revelation would be a good start.

Seriously, this game copies enough other game genres already, and they were doing a fine job of it up until this point, and then they suddenly want to be a shooter too? And a horrible one, at that.
