How great is this guy's vocals!!!! One of the best growls out there for me!! I miss him in Nile so much, when he left the band I was upset for a while, in fact I'm still upset in 2021 😅

Amazing show lads. I really wasn't looking forward to work and it got me through the most part totally tuned in. Dallas is an amazing musician.

Great podcast. Big regret of mine is not seeing Nile with Dallas. He is something else.

Glad you got Dallas on the show but was hoping he'd talk about why he left Nile, info online is vague but it seems it wasn't amicable. Not that I look forward to hearing negative stuff about my favourite band but after nearly 20y in the band and being such a powerful member I just naturally want to know what happened. But maybe he asked before recording not to bring it up

We try to let the discussions evolve organically, in this case I don't think any of us wanted to press on that topic out of respect to all the parties involved.

@@josefkay1054 hey it was definitely an organic discussion and the only long interview i've seen of Dallas so thanks for that!

Fuckin legend. I prefer to listen to all Nile albums on shuffle at once and watch the clouds cross the sky and run into each other like its a battle in the sky.

I remember trying to buy a beer for Dallas at The Pound the second time I saw them live and was unsuccessful. The first time I saw Nile at The Pound there were assholes throwing shit on stage and spitting towards Karl Sanders. And Karl looked straight at me and was pointing at me like I did it. Shit was terrifying but I didn't do it. Love this fucking band from all accounts. Travis from Cattle Decap did end up spitting on me on many shows they opened at The Pound as Josef mentioned but rather it being Anthony from my email to you crew lol. I have so much to say for all of you but would hope to say it in person on here. KC on Diminished....mmmmmmmmmmm

Watched twice, re-watching.. love this man.. When he got his guitar out I shared the same smile as bottom right (Sorry guys I'm still learning the names) Nile were one of the first extreme bands I was exposed to.. didn't make much sense at first.. but before you knew it, these guys and gorguts were high influences (I make noise.. so no point going to my channel thinking you'll see nile level guitar work, you'll see modelled static)

Two hours talking about yourselves and 40 minutes about Dallas. There's no way I can finish watching this. The interruptions alone, so childish and rude
