Thank you so much for persevering with your Harmony of Leaves scarf, it was such a good idea to use a DK weight yarn as it is much easier to see the stitches and now that you have the pattern in your head, another one in 4 ply will be super easy! One thing, you might find that going down a hook size from a 4.5 mm to a 4 mm or a 3.5 mm hook might suit your tension better? I crochet very loosely and actually crocheted the first Harmony of Leaves scarf with a 3 mm, but my testers all found this to be too tight! It was lovely to hear you talk about my design. Hi Stephanie another lovely Podcast. What a,shame about your hat, maybe try a different pattern designed for chunky yarn or do the pattern again using the Aran. I think number 1 pompom would've looked good with that yarn.You made me smile with your comments on the screen about the light bulb moment, what are you like. Its something I would do too 😅. I just love the Sholack blanket the colours are just perfect. I agree that people should give overlay crochet a go. I did a couple of blankets by Rosina Plane, she had tutorials too . Your Cove blanket is looking great , I like the Jewelspun but I think you are right using the cream to break it up.I follow Davina on, she has made a good start on the Nimue. I have a few things on the go just now, my Thorny Briar mitts, my little cardi that I am doing for a toddler. I have cross stitch and The Greenway blanket by Ophelia talks. Too many things. I going to use the W.I. tweed yarn to do the Mayan blanket , hoping to start that soon. I need to stop trying to do too many at once. The Enigma blanket starting again as a CAL I've always wanted to do that too, it will need to wait. How lovely that your son Tom is starting his Military Career. I would cinch the hat and try it on before frogging. It might just fit, and if not it will give you an idea just how many stitches to increase. Your mosaic blanket is gorgeous. I want to work from my stash this winter. I am making things to donate. Right now I have a granny stripe blanket, a linen stitch blanket, and I giant scrappy granny square blanket on my hooks.
