Got your Framed Staple, put it in a Pharaoh and found heaven. This coil actually absorbs juice without even being wicked and the superbly even heating makes this the epitome of flavor coils. None of my other setups even come close. Thanks and keep on innovating.

Hell, now and days a 6 ply of .5 is like DAMNNN what a Hot build... usually Now its like 6 or 7 ply of .4 or a 8 to 10 ply of .3 or .2 but i do Fraliens thanks Doode you was one of the first to ever do it...

Honestly, it's not as hard as you might think. This was my first advanced coil build and I had it down within 2 tries and about an hour and a half. Keep in mind that the most advanced thing I had built before this was a dual parallel build.

that performance from a mech is very nice!!! usually ramp up time makes me stay away from mechs but that build makes me wanna pull out the 1 mech i still have... minus the fact i dont have the wire to even attempt this build yet lol

Your tutorials taught me to take my building skills up a notch. My main issues with 38g or smaller is my vision. I'm considering getting a magnifying clip to wear or something.

The smaller the gauge wire claptoned around, the more crevices for juice to wick into, and it shows more definition to the wire underneath. If you did a twisted 26g and claptoned it with 40g, you will be able to see the twists in it. Thicker wire would make it still look like a normal Clapton.

sick build i made this but wrapped the 6xs Flat ribbon with 38 n80 then framed that with 26 and wrapped in all in 36 and it has been very nice. i am glad Flat ribbon is making a comeback. i always like to to use it but i had not seen others use it much until now

Like others have said thanks very much for the videos, you're a wealth of knowledge. Not that I feel qualified to give you any "tips" but if you use some hot glue instead of tape (it gets cut off anyways) it holds the wire together nicely and is far easier/quicker than trying to tape them

I've found when I do claptons I'll use a brio pen tube and slide it over the core then pinch the wire at the end it keeps the core strait and it spins in my hand so I can concentrate on getting a good tight binding!

i knew when i saw this video that i needed to make this coil. despite have very minimal experience building anything more complicated than a twisted wire i was still able to do this in about 3 or 4 trys. super helpful tutorial and awesome tips. cant wait till mine look as godly as yours though.

Before seeing these videos and subsequently following you on Instagram, I was building your average micro/macro or parallel coils with 24 and 22 gauge, now I'm building twisted coils and fused Clapton's and all sorts of stuff. Thanks man!

+colby ellis yea I've had it for a bout a week a week. I'm on the fence with it. installing coils is easy cutting leads is not fits huge builds in it but the airflow is weird can't really explain it i think the drip tip should of had a larger bore and been taller burns my lips if I have a hotter build in it. all in all though I do like it looks nice on my vcp. and my vaporshark dna 200

Deff. going to give this a go. Think I will use a bit more Kanthal though. Running a .08 is a bit low for my taste. I’ll have to run the numbers to see what I can change to get closer to a .15.

By far this core is my favorite to date! Mr. Unknown I will agree that these types of coils do produce a hotter than normal vape. Without reservation I do not agree on the flavor aspect of this particular build. I use an almost identical coil build on an Alliance V2 on a daily basis. For me it is a very dense and favor filled experience. I really like it!

I'm having some trouble with this coil when wrapping the wire into a coil i'm getting sharp corners instead of smooth wraps :( What's causing this? Is it not enough tension on the wire when coiling?

First off I like to say I love your work and your video tutorials are very informative. Thank you for you work and dedication to the vaping community. My question for the build is does it matter when you wrap this cool if the 26g "after wrapping in 36g" sits on the inside or outside. Or the ribbon sits flat or vertical. Thank you for your time.

+Christopher “McFlip” McNab Thanks for the kind words man. As for the position of the wires, with the round wire that doesn't matter as much. If it is in the center and the ribbon is on the outsides, the round wire might not heat the ribbon up as fast but I believe the difference would be marginal.. With the ribbon however, you want the ribbon to be vertical. If it is positioned horizontal, I have always found that it mutes the flavor and it reduces the coil's ability to wick, breath and exhaust properly.

I will try it with ribbon vertical. Again keep up the good work, you inspire so many people including myself to build to VAPE and for the art.

hey bro love the video, but I have tryed this multiple times and get the build down perfect but when I go to wrap it ....well yeah it gets real ugly real quick the wire twists all kinds away. any tips would be sweet wasted several feet of kanthal using .8x.1 ribbon wire 6 pcs and 26 Guage framed thanks for any info or tips. this might seem like a silly question but, where does the 26 g wire go? On the top and bottom or the sides of the flat ribbon stack? It would make more sense to go on the sides but I don't know.

squid doode try this build take 30g kanthal and twist 4 pieces the cut in half with again the clapton it with 32g to 40g kanthal 6 wrap single is the best

Okay so I can get my ribbon wire perfectly straight but any tips for stacking it and putting the tape on, this is my only gripe and time consuming part is getting all of them to lay on each other and keeping them there while you put the tape on without a strand sliding around and rolling around twisting etc?

Hey squidoode I have a question,if I use the same materials to make these coils on a deck that has a 3 post option how would I go about doing it? The rta Im using is the 3 post deck " the Azeroth rta" what drill bit and how many wraps should I do to get it at 0.20- 0.40 ohms?? I really want to use this style deck with these coils!

+Justin Dorn it would be lower for sure, but you could completely do that. In my experience I have just also found that I enjoy kanthal ribbon more for various reasons.

Who will be the first fool to step up and staple/stagger the individual ribbons with 46 or 44? The time has come. Also if the frames are removed then re: ohmmine the basis for a higher ohm series build is established. Look at pr0bez blue photos. All I see is ribbons that are screaming to be stagger claptoned and dump the frames. Bring on the super dense machine gun vape! re: xxaize re: 8.4 volts. The only thing I'm wonderin' is if the 46 will melt, dunno. Squidoode and the Anarchist squad rule! peace out

if I do this build with all Ni80 6-7wraps on a 3.5mm will I clear .1ohms?

how do you get your wires to stay flat? no matter what I try they always turn into a round set of wires. I did exactly what you did in your tutorial. I'm using all N80 wire, 28 gauge for the frames, 3mm ribbon wire, and 36 gauge for the clapton.

you gotta bend them straight by yourself. use two straight pliers.

Late to the party as always. But I have a question! Is there a way to potentially make a micro staple build, or a version of this that can run on lower wattage?
