Cos he can take heat better than anybody. This record is about swallowing quickest. it a load of crap they could be anything you just swallow swallow swallow... scoville is a true chilli head not just a man who can open his throat the best! I bet he handled the burn time the best. (I was a bit shocked to see him being sick though 5:05 !) Also you need to see the UK Chilli Queen's channel on you tube... she should be in the Guiness book - 32 regulated chilli eating competitions and never been beaten.

SpyridonTheWonderWkr I grew ghost pepper for the last year and had so many pepper bc it is all year round. Too bad I don't know what to do with it. No one in my family wants it bc it's too spicy.

@@hansmeier837 And to add, Guiness arent experts at anything. They dont do pepper records anymore. Also Ed just played the Guiness system and kept sending reaper pods untill one broke the record. Ive grown many different chili strains and there are plenty just as spicy as the reaper or even spicier.

I have tried Carolina Reaper powder plus a couple of others on the upper scale in my food, but the smell and taste of it are bad, the only one I use daily is Habanero Red Savina powder, that's fruity and tasty.
