I have the ES-500W Scanner and during setup, it stops at the connection part and I cannot setup my scanner, Help?

I have a “no disk space” error from my ES500Wii - there is plenty of diskspace 130GB available. I even tried to save the scanned file PDF/A to a drive with 6TB of available space. What is going on here. The scanned document has 768pgs. Does the scanner have an internal memory unit that needs to be purged after so many scans? How do I resolve this error?
