Fun fact about gallstones, is that they can get stuck in the bile duct, cause it to turn septic, and almost kill you. and that is the story about how I would be dead in the age before modern antibiotics and modern surgery. My doctor dismissed my gallstone related pain, and I almost died because of it. Apparently the word "necrotic" was used by the surgeon, but I was kinda in and out of it the week they yanked it out of me. I didn't even have any pizza. Man, I could go pizza right now.

If Harvey Birdman was still around he'd be making a fortune off of all the malpractice cases against Yogi and his group. I still have my fingers crossed for a bird Girl season 2 that hopefully does make reference to this. Honestly it started slow but eventually got up there with its predecessor

You should do some Robot Chicken reactions. That's my favorite show ever. The "This Will Only Hurt for a Second," "Conjoined Twins Separation," and "Tarzan Jungle Medicine," sketches, are some good medical ones I can think of off the top of my head, but there are tons of injuries and doctor ones you could react too. 3:07 clip on ties exist for a reason. Look of a neck tie, but comes undone quickly in an emergency. Stylish and inexpensive. There’s a reason office workers, security, and police wear them.

Interesting to talk about music in hospitals. I volunteered at a Hospital in my late teens, occasionally visiting patients and would sometimes play gentle music to brighten and soothe their moods. Also there's music therapy for people having a tough time mentally. (I used music therapy by learning how to play the guitar after suffering a nervous breakdown after the break up and suicide of my then girlfriend. )

OK, I've finally found a title of legendary series for kids, that teach about human biology, the English title is "Once upon a time... Life" and the original French title is " Il était une fois… la vie". Just be more merciful for it than modern stuff because it's from 80s/90s, so some data may be outdated.

This was gold! It was the good kind of dfq. Except for the 10k hospital bill. I know it's a reality for lots of people in the USA so I'm really happy that I live in the EU - even of it did cost that much, it's covered by insurance. Thing is though: Health insurance will not reimburse the hospital if it reorders a reading becauae the doctor wanted to make sure the patient doesn't have late stage prostate cancer

@@DoctorER Full House was actually where I first learned about eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia as a kid. Season 4 has an episode where DJ tries to lose weight for a pool party Kimmy is having and she goes about the exercise and eating all wrong such as not eating for 3 days. 🙁

@@DoctorER You should probably check out an episode called “One flu over the Cuckoos” because it mainly revolves around Doctors. Another episode called “ Hurl and go seek” because one of the challenges involved food poisoning. And in the episode: “Princess Pride” Beth and Lindsay both fell off a high stage set and got injured.(Beth even got a concussion!) There also scenes where characters get injured. Anyway thanks for replying!

There is a decent amount to pick one but I do have one request. Id suggest Season 1 episode 10, there is a decent amount of med(ish) scenes in it like being locked in a freezer.
