@6:21 Thaddeus was tricked into inhaling "medicine" that contained FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus), which in the Fallout games turns people into what is known as Super Mutants. I know in the Fallout TV show Maximus thinks Thaddeus has been turned into a Ghoul but I don't think that's the case here because of the insanely rapid healing speed of his broken and mangled foot is more inline with what we know about FEV. Now there is a drug that we first learn of in the game Fallout 4 that can turn people into Ghouls, we know of it because the Ghoul character John Hancock took an unknown experimental radioactive drug that started the process of ghoulification in humans. We know next to nothing about this drug other than it is radioactive and will turn people into Ghouls but on the other hand, we know a lot about FEV and one of the things it is known to cause is the insanely rapid healing speed of any wounds, that is why Super Mutants are hard to kill in the Fallout games. Therefore. that is why I don't think Thaddeus is a Ghoul but is a Super Mutant, although we'll have to wait for season 2 of the Fallout TV show that is said to be released sometime in 2026 on Amazon Prime Video to learn what happened to Thaddeus.

The magic of animation is that you can make bloody/violent scenes much more easily!
