Two of the best guitarists play one of the best love songs ever together and create some stunning music. This version is just ethereal. It’s like angels descended from heaven and gathered at one place to create the best version of a classic love song. No one can ask for better synchronicity between two of the world’s best. Just unreal.

This is exactly how the universe should be.... the two greatest guitarists of their generation on stage together, playing the legendary song about the mythical beautiful lady walking around in your dreams. I can rest easy knowing that musically things are as they should be, despite the world falling apart with this pandemic. BRAVO!!

@ Who was the lady in red written about? Creation. The song was written in reference to his wife Diane, who used to come and watch him perform at his parents' hotel. It was released on the album Into the Light.

@ Regards from sunny South Africa. Eric wrote Wonderful tonight for Pattie Boyd, while watching her get ready to go out to a party. Lady in red was written for Chris De Burg's wife Diane. Patti had 2 songs written for her, the other is Layla. They never remained together, so she will always be mythical to Eric.😉

Folks: I try to play this atleast once a week. I agree w/ the comments below; what a glorious performance from both EC & MK. I'm always torn which of these 2 guitars "gods" is the best. Don't know, especially when they play together. Can you just imagine if they did a set w/ Freddy Mercury? -Ron
