1:23:48 i think the plan of stacking the rooks on the 2nd rank with Re2 followed by Raa2 would had been strong if white tries c5 after Re2 then Raa2 and after cxd6 comes Rxg2 followed by Rxh2 mate, the way for white to stop this plan is to imidiatly play Rce1 after Re2 where you still play Raa2 and let white trade his active rook. Long term u can play h5 to get King Space and look to collect the c4 pawn with Rc2

What happens after Qc5? I don’t see good moves in most games so I’m probably missing something. But it seems like I’d trap at least my bishop and knight

@@lancejmarguet actually you wouldnt. After Qc5, white plays Bxd7 and the bishop still protects the knight. Black can then play Rd8 which looks scary, but white has Be6+, black king moves, and then white has tempo to retreat the knight on b5.

@@blueskyautumn Actually he may be right. Instead of Rd8 black has Re7 and it seems like the bishop is trapped. But at least you can win a pawn. Edit: after Re7 there might be b4 saving the piece.

Eric makes the Chessbrahs. Without him Aman would be doing nothing but dropping and picking up the soap. Watching Aman spend all 3 minutes with white deciding on e4, d4, Nf3, or g3 is excruciating. He needlessly flags most of his games.
