I've heard that sometimes the actors don't know exactly what is supposed to happen. I don't know if that's the case in this scene, but Danielle's reaction definitely seemed sincere. I love small moments like this in good shows.

Andy Smith In Tommy's first episode, 6x11 (Santa's Little Helpers), Eric brings him around the house to spend the holidays with him and his family. By the time Josh was born a few episodes later, Tommy visited the hospital and knew the entire gang.
