What's so heartbreaking and sad about American McGee's Alice, that was, in my opinion, the last game that EA put out when they still sort of cared about the gamers and their consumers
@Wingedlight-nn4hl3 жыл бұрын
The creator American McGee is trying to work on the 3rd installment “Alice Asylum” which is a prequel to the first game on his own with with crowdfunding without EAs help and he already has a model of Alice done and some concept art done, hopefully there is some news of it at E3 😊

Visual novel recommandations : - 999 : Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, it has some puzzle elements and the story is fantastic, you'll have to get the true ending though to have the full picture. - Snatcher : Just like Haunting ground this game is super expensive on the Sega CD so just emulate it. this one has some rather mediocre shooting gameplay sequances but they are scarce and far between and most importantly the story is captivating. Great selection of game btw 👌

I can't say this is enough, it makes me happy to see someone legitimately recommend Ultra Despair Girls. I definitely recommend it as well - or, for anyone playing the Danganronpa series, to play it after the second game.
@denkahina973 жыл бұрын
Hi man, just completed the first danganronpa game on vita and absolutely loved it! I'm now playing the second one and just completed the prologue, so glad I've only spoiled one little thing so far from the series. I plan to play ultra despair girls after the second game. Too bad I checked the back cover bcs it gave me a little spoiler haha, love your profile pic man, I noticed nagito had makoto in his name so I'm eager to see what it means but no spoilers please :D
@breathofthewild17493 жыл бұрын
@@denkahina97 You're in for a wild rude dude. It's not COMPLETELY necessary, but I recommend that if you're going all in on Danganronpa, you watch the anime as well (no, I'm not talking about the 1/2 adaptations. I'm talking about Danganronpa 3: Hope and Despair arcs). So your flow, ideally would be (without or without Danganronpa 3): Danganronpa 1 -> Danganronpa 2 -> Ultra Despair Girls -> Danganronpa 3 (anime; both arcs) -> Danganronpa V3
@denkahina973 жыл бұрын
@@breathofthewild1749 thanks for the reply man, don't I get spoiled if I watch the third anime before playing the V3 game?🤔 Just completed the first trial for game 2 chapter one and nagito turned out to be a psycho but I really hope that isn't his real character... Fun fact: if you like fighting games Mr. Landon, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom on the Wii (strictly the U.S. version - Japan's got fully different endings) had a hidden character Joe The Condor. Beating the game with him shows Fiona from Haunting Grounds as a cameo getting saved by all sorts of stuff. Just a funny thing I came across as a completionist. I like when they do that rare shit.

Hey Erick, great video! I don't remember the exact name, but I recall a pretty fun sports game on the SNES was this futuristic Baseball game called Super Baseball 2099 or something like that. In that game the outfielders had jetpacks so they could catch homeruns and I think the batters also had jetpacks so they could rocket to the bases lol There was also a baseball game on the NES where all of the players were robots! People who make sports games nowadays have lost the spirit of fun that they used to have lol Keep up the great work, Erick!

Ultra Despair Girls is an unforgettable hidden gem and one of my favorite games last gen: writing is just incredible, finale is totally out there and even the Warhol rendition of Venice, given the low budget, is a work of art (I would say it is more a resident evil inspired game than a 3rd person shooter)

Interesting choices. As someone who plays a range of genres and also games that are popular to niche, I know I'd have some atypical choices as well. Finding a hidden gem or obscure title that is your favorite can make that game feel like it speaks to you personally. In a selfish way that favorite game is yours and who cares about it being popular.

Give me a story and I'm interested despite the genre. The only requirement is that the gameplay has to be solid enough so it doesn't distract from the story. I love the visual novel Loren the Amazon Princess from Winter Wolves, it got a very choice based story, somewhat tactical RPG battles and character management. There is an NSFW mode that changes the costumes of the characters making all scenes a little ankward, the regular SFW mode is the way to go, the characters look way cooler in this mode. I played in the android version back in 2014, it's very good if compared to mobile games and indie visual novels, but may fall short if compared to PC and console RPG games.
