On the European Ford Focus mk1 is the front indicator screwed in the bumper with a similar screw. BUT that screw has a torx pattern 😬 Probably very good when the car was manufactured, but a torture when u need to change bulb after 3 years. That torx pattern had many many breaking guides...

I've done silicone casting using a similar 3D printed container. But mine screws together with M3 or M4 screws. That's clever using magnets to hold the pieces together! 👍

Great video as always dude. You should make a ton of different sizes of pour sprues and make a mold of em so you can quickly cast any up anytime you need em and not have to worry about cure inhibition with UV resin. Could also just be nice to have so you can pour extra resin you may have mixed so it doesn't go to waste.

these can still be had for little coin, they are used on Piaggio Ape's.

Oh, those are also used on the Fiat 126, an in effect the Danish Mini-El as it uses Fiat 126 lamps (EV from the late 80s) that I own two of - Interesting to see it used on Lancia as well.

Great Video, how long do you degass your silicone for? I have a vacuum chamber but typically only degass for a minute or so after it falls. Does it do a better job if you do it longer?

Like the gas as long as the silicone needs to be degassed until there aren't no more bubbles coming out of the silicone typically 10 to 20 minutes depending upon the volume
