Despite being the God of love I’m pretty sure Eros is the only God not to cheat on his wife

My favorite love story in Greek mythology, and it didn't end in tragedy.

hate to break it to you but its a roman story
@chichiboypumpi3 ай бұрын
@@chrolloscoochieflap6770 I don’t know whose grandma cleopatra centrist you got that from but Romans adopted many things Greek the only extended narrative from antiquity is that of Apuleius from 2nd century AD, Eros and Psyche appear in Greek art as early as the 4th century BC.

Can we talk about how Psyche cared more that Eros broke up with her more than both of her sisters dying?
@boardcertifiable9 ай бұрын
Well, her sisters did want her sacrificed in the first place, so I think thats fair she didn't care about them after that.

@@Psycholosopher Same. But was expecting the "can't revive dead lover" trope they seem to love so much in these greek/roman myths. So it was a welcome surprise.

A great story 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the only 3 things she shouldn't have done was listen to her sisters followed his wish on not looking at him and opening the box when she was prohibited not too

Omg! It’s such a beautiful story. The Greeks really knew how to make a story of romance.
@cmonbruh713911 ай бұрын
Because its a true story actually, the Greek God's were literally just advanced beings from other planets that had advanced technology and they had mastered their consciousness so they looked like Gods to us. They're actually the ones who built alk the pyramids and all the beautiful architecture u see in Egypt and Europe, South America etc. That's why even t this day the archeologists say they don't know who or how these megalithic sites were even created with so much precision and the fact that there are granite blocks that weighs over a thousand tons apart of these buildings and people actually believe that regular humans cut this rock out of mountains and dragged it miles over mountains and then created perfect pyramids all with primitive tools is absolutely ridiculous. Our history has been lost but these sites tell us the truth, especially with all the ancient tablets and hieroglyphs that tell us these stories. Also if u talk to these Egyptian people they will say that the pyramids were there before they were there, that the Gods created these and they just basically came across or inherited them. So ya these stories as much as it might sound fake its actually all true stories and if u do research u will find out that in not lying. Have a great day Much love and Peace
@cmonbruh713911 ай бұрын
I want to add one more thing because I know people WILK instantly say nope that's a lie and everything else and how or why these things existed but I want to ask u this before ur mind tries to say this can't be real go within your heart and see what u feel, because if your heart deep down tells u I actually think this is real then its because it is. Remember our hearts are basically brains but brains that operate through compassion and love. So always listen to your heart
@Psycholosopher11 ай бұрын
@@cmonbruh7139well I don’t know if it’s true or not. I can’t necessarily write it off, but regardless the story is perfect, and fills my heart with such awe. I had to share this with my husband.
@cmonbruh713911 ай бұрын
Hey, the fact you don't write it off right away and u seem to be open minded then that tells me you're a different breed than most lol cause most people will dismiss it instantly and not even think that hey maybe these things did happen, I mean when u look at our universe and the galaxies u realize that there's obviously life out there and they're probably way more advanced than us. I mean u see in the news that they have recovered alien ships with actual aliens. So we live in a awesome time because now we get to see the truths of our history and the universe history as well.

Psyche was granted with a pair of butterfly wings🦋 as a wedding gift 💝, to sore and touch the sky with her husband everyday. It is unknown who gave her such a gift. Was it her beloved husband or her mother-in-law who finally relented. The stories never say. Eros aka Cupid is one of the 7 Eros. 7 winged brotherly deities of different aspects of love. Anteros of mutual love, love returned or required. Hedylogos: god sweet-talk and flattery. Hermaphroditos of bisexuality, effeminacy, fertility, and intersex. Himeros: unrequited and impetuous love. Hymenaios of wedding ceremony. And there's Pothos of yearning, and longing. Can we get vids on each of them.
