I forgot my 3 Good Things this week, but there are plenty of good things in this video. I take you along as I run some errands (to Ikea and Sprouts) just for me, stop to do some writing in the park, and put some near-finishing touches on my redecorated studio space. Plus, I reveal the before and after of the new studio and and share my grocery "haul."

Jen, it was lovely to be able to share your day - don't worry about whether it all flowed correctly, it was natural & i caughe myself smiling a lot through it! I haven't heard of those courts before & am intrigued. And i have to say, those buns look so good, & pumpkin spice milk! How awesome is that?! You have the most wonderful foods we don't get here. I'm dairy intolerant & can't have soya either so have almond or hazel nut milk, but pumpkin spiced milk sounds amazing! The lamps look good insitu & your studio is coming along nicely - your bathroom wallpaper is even more amazing than i remember it when you showed us - a touch of real opulence! I've had a few probs this week - hip pain is fierce, & had issues with my diabetes meds, but my good things this week are... a robin has been serenading us in the gaeden, i finished a project & have had some ideas for the next one, i have been abke to wash & dress most days this week - if i'm allowed a fourth & fifth, i was able to sort a cupboard & even do some housework (just a little dusting but i'm glad i did it), i rang my father after procrastinating over it for quitw some time, & was able to speak calmly but assertively, so that's a major milestine for me. Gosh, it's 5.30am here so i'd berter sign off beforw this nifht owl turns into a lark!! As alwaya, wishing you strength & peace for the days ahead. Belle.

I'm kind of surprised you haven't heard of pétanque, Belle! It's a boules-type game that we first came across in France (old men playing in the park) and we bought our ball set in Belgium because we'd never seen it in the US. I've never heard of hazelnut milk, but that sounds lovely! I'm not a huge fan of the taste of almond milk, so I'm experimenting with different types. I tried a cashew-based yogurt this week that was pretty good! It sounds like your energy levels might be on the increase. I know there are days when just showering and dressing are a challenge, so mark those things up as victories!

@@fromjenn My late mother was Belgian & i've seen old men playing in the park in France, too, but thought it was boules! Petanque is a new one for me! Yes, those days are deffo victories! Thanks Jenn.
