CRP (C-reactive protein) and ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) are blood tests that help detect inflammation in the body. CRP measures a specific protein in the blood that increases during inflammation, providing a quick and specific result. ESR, on the other hand, measures the rate at which red blood cells settle in a tube, which is a non-specific marker of inflammation and can be influenced by various factors. CRP is often preferred for its sensitivity and specificity in assessing inflammation.

Hlo sir kuch days phle mujhe fever aya tha aur thand bhi lag rhi thi doctor ne viral infection bataya tha aur cbc nd esr kraya tha esr 30 aya tha kya viral infection mai esr bdh skta h i mean koi tension ki bat toh nhi h pls reply? Ab mujhe shi lg rha h isiliye mne dobara test nhi kraya

Koi vi infection mai ESR bar sakta hai . High ESR is subjective. Log CRP test karate hai for detecting inflammation in body. Anyway infection se recover hone ke bad ESR normal ho jata hai.

@@animatedbiologywitharpan han doctor ne bola tha ki seasonal fever hai kya isme bhi increase ho jta hai I mean koi tension ki bat to nhi hai. Aur kya ab normal agya hoga? Ap mujhe insta I'd btao m apko apni report bhej dungi ya koi wtsp number
