We ditched the truck and for a day out on the water and a sneaky OVERNIGHT stay on our 4.2m boat! - When Its not blowing in Esperance WA - then this spot is MAGNIFICENT! Feels like we hit the JACKPOT with this one!

Beautiful colours hey on the water! We were there a few weeks ago and we were lucky to score a couple nights at Lucky Bay! All those beaches from Albany to Esperance are incredible. Not sure if you ducked into Bremer Bay, that was awesome too. Now I'm out on the Nullabor solo, working my way back to QLD

Everyone needs a break from their hubby hahaha I miss Esperance! A great spot for the boys is eleven mile lagoon. We stayed for hours playing in the protected swimming holes. It's beautiful! Maybe give the truck a run for its money and try the track down and up from the carpark. We had to go around because we couldn't get back up from being chopped out 😂

Wow what a couple of days you had . So lucky for the weather as the wind can pop up any time and ruin every thing . And agree with you that Little Hellfire Bay trumps Lucky Bay . We watch every episode but don't often comment (but you always get a 👍)....this episode was fantastic. When we were at Esperance on our Lap the weather was awful and we were so disappointed (did someone say 'day drinking' to drown our sorrows 🥴). The colours you got to see were beyond beautiful. My mantra "what would Elenya do?" still stands.. we got back yesterday from a 3 month free camp along the Murray River inspired by your journey there. 🙌

Sadly doesn't sound like you'll be making it up to the Coral Coast at all. Places like Shark Bay (not as bad as it sounds) are at their very best this time of year.

Love watching your videos. We are just getting set up to leave at the end of May to travel from Canberra across to SA then up through the centre to Darwin and then around the coast of WA and back across the Nullabor. We are just wondering if we buy HEMA maps is it best to install on the navigator screen in the car or if it is better to put on the ipad so we can use it for planning our route when we are in the caravan as well as the car. Also you were mentioned on the 1lock caravan site as using their system. Did you think that was a worthwhile upgrade. Thanks so much for your youtube episodes as you are such an inspiration and I have recently watched and thoroughly enjoyed almost all of your episodes. Still have a few to watch and will look forward to watching new ones.

100% for the 1key upgrade! Best thing we have done to our van tbh (: We just use the HEMA navigation system and works well! We can’t speak for any other way as we haven’t trialled it but we use HEMA maps all the time especially offroad (: Thanks for taking the time to comment and good luck with your trip!
