Join us on our journey out West towards Western Australia in this episode! We begin by paying our respects at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, followed by a refreshing overnight stay at a free campsite where the heavens open up, offering us our first heavy rain in months. The temperature cools down, providing relief from the heat.
The next day, we make a quick pit stop at Woolworths in Katherine to stock up on groceries before continuing our adventure. Along the way, we explore points of interest such as a monument dedicated to the Durack Family, attempt to spot crocodiles while walking the Bradshaw Bridge, and pay a visit to the Noel Buntine memorial.
After a seven-hour drive, we finally arrive at Saddle Creek Rest Area, where the temperature soars, making it one of the hottest nights we've experienced on our journey so far. Join us as we delve into the beauty and challenges of traveling through Australia's diverse landscapes. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more adventures!

Great couple of episodes. Loved the waterholes and falls in Kakadu. Admire you both walking down in the heat then climbing out This episode was great amazing cemetery and so well kept. The country bloomed so dry but probably changed later on in the wet. Very sensible being selective where you camp. It’s a long way from help out there. You are brave. Thoroughly enjoying watching your trip

Glad you enjoyed it. We were worried about mentioning the reasons about why we choose certain camps but it's the truth and that's what we are about. Even though it's been so hot we have enjoyed the beauty of NT. Thanks again for your constant support of our channel

Welcome aboard! Thank you for following our journey. We try to keep it real. There will be some separate videos on some products but yeah we prefer not to put that in our travel videos as our viewers feedback showed this was more accepted. Hope you enjoy our travels

Hello Jon and Tracie, I have read the book by Dame Mary Durack: "Kings in Grass Castle's it was harsh times back then it is a good read. In the early 80's I did an exercise, from memory on Bradshaw Stn there it was called "Dusty Canyon" and yes it gets very hot at that time of year. Till next week Safe travels.

You guys are SO GOOD!! Love your episodes, so natural. I grew up with the Durack family in southern WA, descendants of the Kimberley Duracks. They have their names on the family tree at the Durack Homestead at Argyle. Keep up the awesome episodes!
