My app only shows a 1000 + regardless of how I search it. This is so frustrating and I don’t know why Etsy changed it.

Use the normal Etsy app, not the sell on etsy app. The numbers are there as of today.

@@memawsusan I got the same thing on the regular app as well. I'm in the US. Could it vary by country?

@@RuthmarieHicks Maybe it could vary by Country because I’m in the US as well but I’ve read in Etsy forums and other places that almost everyone is having the same issue. One person said it would work on their Desktop but that didn’t work for me, you may want to try it though.

The desktop version also does this, for us old curmudgeons who don't like using the phone as the screen is too small.

On the desktop, search results does not show the exact figure. It just says 1000+. But if you funnel it down via the categories menu then it shows the actual number.

doesn't matter the platform/phone/device, this is etsy's thing. only thing good is if you have under 1000 then it'll tell you the exact number. other than that.......that ship seems to have sailed

I still see +1000 ads? Huh??? I'm using the normal app also. Do you think it's location based and that's why I'm seeing this?

I don’t understand. I’ve tried this before and the ONLY thing that shows up is 1000+ for the results. It doesn’t give me the ACTUAL searches.

Those numbers appear to be only the number of searches with ads. What about all the others that don't have ads. Is it possible to find that number to know exactly how many stores there are?

It's just for guidance, and gives an idea of what the inventory level is at on the platform. No, we cannot see how many stores there are.

Good for basic things like seeing if you have used all your tags, keeping a rough eye on competition, but a waste of time for anything to do with SEO, none of the search volume and click data comes from Etsy.
