My shop stop getting visit when I turn off etsy ad. But when the ad is on i don't get sale from the ad but from etsy search meaning i get a lot of organic traffic when the Ad is on. When i turn off the organic traffic is also off. Why is etsy doing this to me

I love your videos Nick, thank you for all the advice! I have a store that I opened in. 2019, put up about 30 art prints, but didn't do much beyond that until recently. I have a couple that sell well, and up to 178 sales since I opened. I have been uploading a listing per day for the last 2 weeks, and instead of just prints I am adding my art to other products. Is this too much of a general-store concept? Or is it Niche enough because I have unique art? Should I stop with the prints, and just focus on specific products like living room decor? Wondering best how to move forward. I plan to book a discovery call this month.

In my experience, if you stop listing, you stop selling. Having a listing plan is key.

Hello, It's been about 10 days since we opened a new store. I currently have 7 listings and I continue to upload them day by day. My question is, I want to open a 35% discount to enter the sales cycle. Do you think it's the right time or should I list some more? Pricing: I had my items listed at a certain price with a 25% discount. I forgot to add the discount on a few items and that’s when they started selling 😂

Dear Nick, I am one of your closest fans here! Please, how would you explain my established store of one year old, selling unique Wall Art, receiving dozens of favorited listings every single day, literally hundreds of them per month, yet those are not translating to sales?? What might be wrong? I have been following your advice consistently, building a unique collection of 120 listings with high viewability organically yet sales seemingly have stopped, after a peak reached 3 months ago or so. I thought Etsy was a platform for genuine creative people to sell their handcrafted works..... Someone who fits that criteria would want to sell one-off. I started on my Etsy process and then parked it because I was busy selling on another platform. If Etsy has become "just another digital fee-grabber" I won't bother bringing my products to their pity party...... Etsy is showing itself to be a drop kick in the commerce world if it lets copycat mass production drop shippers gain edge over real artists

I'm a bit confused. If the process of opening an Etsy shop requires me to list a product immediately, that takes it for granted I have my products good to go. I'm thinking of using Gelato POD, and all the videos I've watched have people linking their preexisting Etsy store to Gelato as part of Gelato's set-up process, before even designing their products. So I guess I'm asking, which comes first, the Etsy chicken or the Gelato egg?

Bad news for digital only sellers the filter on any search at the moment is now set to physical items - so unless the client actually chooses to clear the search filter or choose digital - you wont get seen if digital only. My traffic fell away yesterday because of this.

Does it mean that my listing is not indexed if I paste my listing title into the regular Etsy search bar and my listing doesn’t come up? But it does come up if I search my store. Sorry if this is obvious, I’m a brand new store 😊

Its extremely difficult to contact etsy if should happen to not have my items indexted. Is there one specific email you could run by us or link thanks so much. My store doesn't seem to get very many views at all and if i its because I put my link sometimes on my facebook with ads or the nextdoor app. thanks again for any suggestions.

Hello Nick, After publishing around fifty designs in my Shop, suddenly I notice that more than forty of my designs are displayed with an "unpublished" status on the Printify platform! Of course, I have written to Printify and they have assured me that they will fix the problem. The question I have is whether the "unpublished" status on Printify can have any impact on the visibility of my designs? Printify advised me not to touch the "unpublished" designs anymore as it could cause the algorithm to read the changes made to them as duplicates, which would result in paying twice for the same designs. I know that the "unpublished" status is not visible on the Etsy platform, but is it the same for the algorithm?

Just checked my listings and almost half of my products are not indexed!! Why would this be happening? Contacting Etsy today. Thank you so much for pointing this out. I would have had no idea. UPDATE: Just asked Etsy and they say it is just a test they are running , just for today. We will see. UPDATE: Etsy claim it is a problem with the search manager not working properly and are looking into it. Took about an hour to get to this stage and you have to give some account details so make sure you are using the https - genuine Etsy chat.

@@kinestet_art I was about start writing about some things you can change but then I saw that your shop is active since 2016!! You have 39 sales since 2016. It doesn't matter if you were off for any reason but your shop has zero chances to be successful! The reason is that Etsy will ALWAYS put you on the bottom of search results because in 8 years, you made almost zero sales, you brought to Etsy zero money from fees! That applies for potential buyers too, I mean If I was a buyer, I would think that this shop cant be good since it has 40 sales the last 8 years. My advice is to deactivate your shop and start one from scratch! Etsy always gives some boost to new shops. Also, 35 listings are way too few, you will need a least 100 even if it means that you have to duplicate some of your listings with different listing title, tags etc All the above are a friendly advice from an stranger, you should always research yourself what is good for your shop! I understand the message in the video about starting with the difficult tasks and finishing with the easier ones, but the example used is a bit confusing to me. These actions take up no more than 5% of the total workload, with another 15% for packaging, and 80% for manufacturing the product. As a result, I end up working 12 hours a day, without weekends or vacations for several years now, and I can’t afford to hire an assistant because my earnings barely cover the bills. What am I doing wrong?)))

I’m an Ai seller on Etsy(Not POD). It’s been a good beginning. I got 10 sales for the first month with very few listings on June 2024. Mostly, I spend a lot of time doing research before I actually put on my listing out. I think it’s better to start it right and you need to get used to good habits and let your work hard paid off!
