Your beautiful soap reminds me of my house. We recently painted the outside of our house denim blue with white trim and we have gotten many compliments as it is a beautiful contrast. I could listen to you and watch your videos every day. Oh, since this Covid virus started, that is what I mostly do! You are a calming therapist!

My dad grew up in a house without a bathroom, they had an outhouse loo. He had to walk through his sisters bedroom to get to his. My grandparents could have bought the house for £25 when they first married, but they couldn't afford it. So they rented it until they died in 1972. It then sold for 10K. My dad said they went to the local baths once a week.

I had some spoons like that once, but the spoony bit kept coming off so frustration set in and I tossed the lot of them. *sigh* . Should've just epoxied them back together. Loved those thingies!

Sorry to hear about your boiler. We just had to replace our gas furnace. Of course, it went out during sub-zero (F) weather, so I can understand your trouble. I hope you can get the new one in soon. Being cold can wear one down. Nice soap, you made today. Very pretty, even if basic.

Great soap Tiggy as always! The vid was darker today. Probably because top light wasn't on. I never notice the flicker you spoke of when ever I watched your vids. I ordered several bars of your soaps. I can't wait to get them. I live in the northeast in the US, so I feel your pain when it comes to the cold!

Thank you, and thank you for ordering! Nah it was dark outside due to the weather. You won't have seen the flicker because I turn the light off LOL! It flickers if I turn the strip lights on. My camera picks it up. Xx

Thanks for sharing this lovely soap. I love that blue . It is freezing cold in Norway to. We had - 13 Last night . now we are in - 10 and the sun is here .

Omg is that -10 -13 Celsius?? Wow I've never been anywhere that cold lol. It's the end of summer here in Australia it's getting cooler days average about 25 Celsius atm but were 34-42 Celsius in December and January. I love summer-here it gets cold in winter we get frosts where we are but never snows only up on the mountain and hills. I love the look of snow but glad it doesn't snow here haha :) our winter days average 8-10 deg Celsius during the day down to 0 -2 the coldest.

Lyndal Hildebrand I live in NYC, USA & I've been in temps at 0° F & below which is between -17 & -18° C. Yeah, it gets super cold out lol

Oh I love this soap it's gorgeous 😍😍 Is it winter in England? I hear it's cold there a lot. Here in Australia it's still summer well the end of summer so days aren't as hot but still pretty hot haha it's great I love the heat. Hope some nice warm sunshine heads your way soon hun :)

Well it's about to come into spring, as you're about to head into winter. Usually we say there's a chance of frost right up until the end of may, but usually it warms up a little at this time of year. This snow was unexpected! Xx

acrafting if you mix your td with water, do a water discount to counter act it! This will also help prevent soda ash too! Hope this helps! x

Thumbs way, way, way up for editing out the horrid blending! Agree with the calm of essential oil soap making and as always your soap looks great. The contrast of the blue against the white is the perfect backdrop for your black salt. ~ Sorry even we can't send you the sun. We are finally getting some rain here in California... only the second time in twelve months. Thinking warm thought for you just the same ; )

if u discount water is there a possibility of over lyed soap?

No. The oil weight is what determines the amount of lye required, not the water content.

FuturePrimitive Soap Company so what is the point of discounting water does it make the bar of soap harder if your not using hard oils

The point is to make a harder bar, eliminate soda ash, and slightly cut down cure time.

Hi, very lovely Soap. But, as a Soapery and a video watcher it would actually be nicer if you did show the entire process rather that editing out the blending. It takes away from the experience. But, nonetheless, beautiful Soap. 😀🌸🦄
