Hi I have a question. I want to use a wireless WiFi signal for gaming but my wifi does not reach my room. It is a very good connection in the living room but it’s bad in every other room. So what is the best option for wireless WiFi extension for gaming? Should I get powerline adapters and use their wireless WiFi, mesh WiFi or an external router instead of the router modem combo provided by virgin media (hub 3.0). Thanks

If you're having issues with wireless, I would probably give powerline adapters a go. Connect one of the adapters to the router and then place the other one in the room where you are gaming. You'd then connect your PC or console to the ethernet port on the adapter itself. This removes the wireless component completely.

Okay thank you, but what would you recommend for the best wireless signal range as Ethernet connection isn’t always the most convenient for me. Also my wifi signal doesn’t reach any other rooms very well apart from the room it’s in as I have thick walls in my house. Would you still say wifi powerline extenders are the best option or should I get a router to connect to my virgin hub 3. Thank you
