3 жыл бұрынNitin Gadkari (Minister of Road Transport & Highways and MSME) discusses the infrastructure push for roads to help India grow, with Padmaja Joshi, Times Network.
'We have constructed an average of 35 kilometres of roads per day in the last 380 days. I am very loyal to my departments. The idea is to up targets and motivates people to do better. We are hoping to increase construction to 40 kilometres per day. Toll collection is at Rs 34,000 crore despite lockdowns and farmers protests. There are 17 roads made in such a way that an aeroplane can land in emergency situations,' says Nitin Gadkari.

Transport Minister has put all vehicle owners by his official power in trouble by charging a huge amtt of fine. Example If our vehicle has no update paper of pollution certificate we should pay Rs 10000/-as fine. 2.District Transport office never takes bother for the real newal of vehicle papers, never supports their customers for doing best without Riseat through Dalal. This practice is found everywhere. Please sir this should be checked at yours level and be stopped in future.with thanks.

I live in village in assam.. there is a big river in my village omand for decades it has only a wooden bridge which was very difficult for traveling.. then in 2016 gov censored a pakka bridge (172m)and it was completed last month and it it changes whole transportation problem now.. thanks to bjp 🙏

I had spent 4 years of my life travelling on a highway on the way to college and it was so bad that we used to get back pains and also buses use to break down frequently. It was a very depressing to travel on that road. Last 4 years road between Mangalore-Ududpi is 4 lane and can be made 6-lane in future. My juniors reach college in 45min whereas we used to take hour and half and ride is also smooth. I have great respect fro NHAI and Nithin sir and Modi sir for all the work done in our country

I am from Dehradun and am so excited and happy about the new Delhi-Dehradun Expressway :-) I've spent countless hours on this road all my life and can unequivocally say how much of a relief it will be to have this time of travel shortened so drastically. I'm particularly happy about the elevated part of this planned expressway which will pass through the forests surrounding Dehradun and will provide safe passage beneath it for the wildlife in the area.

Highways main focus is for trucks and the toll revenue also majorly comes from commercial vehicles, same is the case with railways where the main source of revenue is freight. Unfortunately people who have never held a real job in their life or ran their own business or even finished college, only claim that you can make gold out of potatoes

@@flashbotai262 they gave border roads complete priority. upa times the main highways were good only, but they neglected border infrastructure because they were scared of china. also congress signed mou with ccp. bjp being a nationalist party is taking border infra very seriously as it is crucial in our national security especially considering china.

@@flashbotai262 Bro they literally are building one of the longest Expressways in the world in record time they layed thousands of Km of tracks called DFC for freight transport. They are making tallest bridges longest tunnels and what not. They are improving public transport by building metros in 20 cities and metro neo in 50 cities. There are man economic corridors under construction in India. Bullet train is under construction what else you need. There is increase in road quality drastically across India. They are laying tracks for trains till the end of India in North East. All trains tracks will be electrified.

I have travelled via the Delhi- Haridwar highway. I was amazed to see the quality of the road and the landscape around it. Had to take pictures to let other people see how good it is.

Lol, Gadkari Ji is an "exception to the rule"...Modi could not push Gadkari and Rajnath away because they had a huge base in BJP. @Shinigami sure upsc is the toughest , and the officers who cleared it are surely competent enough , but once they enter thier constituency , they often have connections with politicians , and start illegal money laundering now . They offer legal protection to local mafia gangsters . Here in place where i live , the ias officer has ties with local gangs and they have ramped up the corruption .

I am in USA working as Civil Engineer Transportation. I have not visited India for last 5 years. I will suggest Mr.Gadkari to provide guide rails/guardrails to major highways, state roads and rods in mountainous roads to increase safety of motorists.
