I missed to put this detail. I used to play the piano without any problems before the ETS (even with my sweaty hands)
But now i sweat so much that it drips even when there is direct air on it. Even with a cooler, fan or an ac running in the room, i can drip sweat from my back while i play. I can never play the same way i used to and it kills me every single day.

Hi, You can read my previous comments on this video. But they are old now and a lot of new understanding I have had on this surgery. Here is my conclusion. ETS has a multitude of side effects which are unknown to medical fraternity(doctors and surgeons) because they manifest years later- 5 to 10 years even. Compensatory sweating is most widely known side effect- which is sweat on the back and chest that can be at least 3-5 times your original palmar sweat. It can cause severe discomfort, make you compromise life. Another is, bitter and painfully cold hands in winters(Raynaud's Disease) which is due to the absence of heat flow to the hands after ETS. The hands and fingers get so cold that you cannot hold a mouse on a computer, do any work with hands at all. In General, ETS thwarts all autonomous functions in the Upper body- those ants running on your face, ears red hot suddenly, hair raising on hands and arms, wetness in eyes. These are all essential autonomous responses of your body. Now, they are what makes you who you are- human. They ensure you can feel intensity of emotions, they ensure quality of life. Now, they are not indispensable to existence of life - your life can go on without them, but you will feel dead in the head. I joined an ETS support group on Facebook and found many horror stories like mine who go through he aftermath of ETS. Some are living on the edge and some couldn't make it. I grappled with suicidal thoughts for three years after getting ETS and how it affected my life. I don't recommend ETS to anyone. Bilateral or Unilateral. No. Nervous system is far too complicated to be played with. don't play chance with you life.

@@karanchauhan9605 yes, ETS can cause erratic cold hands in winter due to absence of heat and blood flow to the hands. This is a serious problem because the fingers start to get unbearably cold and you cannot hold a mouse on a computer or a phone for a short time (5 min even). ETS has complex side effects which manifests slowly over the years. Essential body functions - Like wetness of eyes, natural warmth of hands and feet, hair raising on arms, sudden heat flow to the head, ears getting warm, face getting charged, blood flow to the head, all of them are affected by ETS. Now, you might think you can happily give up all of these in exchange for dry hands. But trust me these autonomous responses make you feel alive and human. These very signals translate into natural heat balance of the body and causes the compensatory sweating when thwarted b ETS. Body is the most complex mechanism there is on earth. I have seen people suffering after this surgery beyond belief. Please dont play with your life. You have only one.

@@vijabhinav but life without a descent job ( in my case government job ) is not life worth living, as I am preparing for ssc stenographer, which requires a descent tying speed and I can't type with these sweaty hands so, this surgery is my hope, SO PLEASE TELL ME ARE YOUR HANDS 100% DRY, AND IF NOT THEN HOW MUCH BETTER YOUR HANDS ARE AS COMPARED TO PRE-SURGERY. Please reply soon

@@karanchauhan9605 left hand was dry completely and right was 70% dry. I will try and say again. Dont go for surgery. Put more efforts in researching alternate medications and methods to suppress it. Dont play with your nervous system. This surgery is banned in the country where it originated- sweden. No government hospital recommends or do this surgery. Only private hospitals. Why? Profit.

Wow, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.
